First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday launched a vigorous counterattack on behalf of her husband's beleaguered presidency, declaring that the president is the victim of a "politically motivated" prosecutor allied with a "vast right-wing conspiracy."
Using a nationally televised interview as her forum, she assumed a familiar and crucial role as Bill Clinton's first defender. She said she knew him better than anyone in the world, still loved him, and fully believed his denial of allegations that he had entered into a sexual relationship with a White House intern and had urged the young woman to lie about it.
The first lady's determined performance on NBC's "Today" dramatically reshaped the debate over the sex scandal that erupted last week and now threatens President Clinton's political survival. Her words at once established a clear line of counterattack for Clinton's loyalists, whose defense strategy until yesterday had seemed confused if not half-hearted, boosted morale at the White House, and drew a swift rebuttal from her main target, independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr, who labeled the conspiracy claims "nonsense."

I wouldn’t call it a repeat. Rush TOTALLY NAILED what was going to happen - which was the millennial bunch that went to college and got lectured and lectured on the rape culture, and literally have no clue about Bill Clinton’s sordid past, or Hillary’s covering up of it, will be VERY INTERESTED to understand what Trump is talking about.
It will be MUCH HARDER for her, or anyone, to simply ‘make it go away’.

Why did Hillary lie and contort herself in order to blame everyone else other than Bill and herself?
Truth is in Bill’s second term he complained about not having enough time to himself, you know, all those photo ops and daily speechifying was too grueling for him. So, Hillary re-arranged his schedule so he would have most of the afternoons free.
Then in walks Monica with a pizza and a pair of kneepads.
Gotta ask, while Bill was canoodling with his intern paramour - who was taking care of the ship of state?
Hillary was.
Yeah, and she had his secretary keep an eye on his his activities - through a peephole no less.
So, all of Hillary’s sadness after her husband got caught was just because he got caught.
Hillary knew exactly what Bill and Monica were doing.
Weren’t these women he attacked Democrats? How did the Republicans get these women to make this stuff up? Hitlery may not be the brightest woman in the world after all.
The Enabler.
Blame the victims and belittle them, audit them. Shut them up.
This is the champion for women’s rights? Ha.
Which is why I keep posting articles from when she was Acting President, and Co-President BJ was spending all his time working to find ever more compliant females (or not-so compliant) to powerball into subservience during his depraved tenure.

Because after BJ was finished with his second term, and therefore being unable to be elected again, it was supposed to be MRS. BILL'S TURN!!!. Another eight years of their co-presidency to ensure all their plans (and "campaign contributions") continued for years.
BJ was named POTUS, but SHE ran things in the background while he was just a figurehead.
If only he had managed to keep it in his trousers then she would be the EMPRESS OF THE -*cough*, I mean, The First Female "President" in our nation's history.
Frightening thought, that.
It was not just that obvious difficulty. Remember that at least one feminist leader proudly stated that she would willingly immediately drop to her knees and give BJ a “BJ” as long as he was willing to support abortion.
You can’t make this stuff up.
The worst part is, so many people are willing to vote her into office, and quite a few of those simply because she is a female.
Truly sad, when you think about it...
People are starting to get it. New media gets the info out there.
It wasn’t ‘poor Hillary was a victim of her husband.’ She knew about the attacks and actively participated in the cover up to fulfill her political goals. She was an enabler and an after the fact participant in destroying these women’s reputations, financial life, careers, and caused further emotional damage.
