Something Trump Can't Buy
me

If Donald Trump wins the presidency and succeeds in doing what he says he will do he will be assured a position in history as one of our very greatest presidents.

So making new laws instead of enforcing the laws we have is the answer?

Trump’s party affiliation has changed over the years. Until 1987, he was a Democrat.[4] Then he was a Republican from 1987-99.[3] He then switched to the Reform Party from 1999-2001.[3] From 2001-09 he was a Democrat again,[3] and switched to the Republican Party again from 2009-11.[3] An independent from 2011-12, he returned to the Republican Party where he has remained from 2012-present.[3]

Try for accuracy.

All he or she was saying is that a preacher is not going to make it to the nomination this time. It’s too late for sissies and goody-goodies and turn the other cheek types. Not with the march of islam overturning the west.

Thanks!

It just drives me nuts that we finally have a guy like this come along and people are still whining.

We have a real warrior that actually DEFENDS us and people are complaining that "it's not the Christian thing to do."

Screw that. I'm tired of corrupt submissive punks as our standard bearers (Bush, Romney, McCain, Boehner, Ryan, etc etc) that do nothing but get attacked and retreat.

Trump is running for President, not pastor of the First Baptist Church on Elm Street.

The time for nice losers is over.

My exact feelings. As you said, we have a broad spectrum of people now supporting Trump...and it still isn’t good enough. Not for the GOPe or the evangelical/religious types. They want political and/or religious purity. But as you may know, the religion threads here are some of the nastiest on the entire internet - no one gets along or can agree on anything. So why should I follow their advice on politics??

“Try for accuracy.”

So basically you’re saying that Trump is a flip-flopper that has absolutely NO convictions and joins whichever party he thinks will benefit him the most at the time. That is pretty sad in itself!!

That just proves Trump is untrustworthy!

Had enough of half term Senators, especially if they worked for Bush.

“that your statement was wrong.”

You didn’t really help your point. Ok, so Trump was a Dem until he decided to run as a republican in 2012. During his 2012 run, Trump was still for an “assault” weapons ban so he was still running on liberal policies. Trump only changed those policies in 2014 and 2015 to appeal to his current audience. The Art of the Deal...when the public didn’t buy his liberal positions in 2012, Trump altered those positions to get what he wants now.

Trump has NO consistency, credibility, or trustworthiness!

He changes party affiliations more often than he changes wives. And since it’s trump, that’s saying something.

We should start a new betting pool. Will he next change his wife or his political party?

Catherine,

I stopped reading your response at “Hard to believe you’ve missed them all. But:”

I treat people with dignity and respect and believe in civil discourse. Your comment smacks of disrespect. It also comes very close to accusing me of being untruthful.

However, I am willing to consider an explanation of why I shouldn’t interpret your comment in this way.

Yeah, I knew you’d find a reason to discount/justify/excuse them all.

Thanks for confirming that.
