THEORY: They are trying this out to allow better visualization of the players’ feets and hands positions to the field and the ball for easier decisions during replay challenges. No question about who’s arm is who??

ROFLMAO this is exactly what we dubbed the teams tonight!
And call it the Hot Dog Bowl.
The first one (before?) Thanksgiving we were shocked, unaware it was coming. We called it the Elf Bowl. Red and Green teams, exactly like Santa’s elves! We thought for a minute they were deliberately leading into the Christmas season!
My husband’s parody of Rudolph’s “We are Santa’s Elves”:
We are football elves
We are football elves
We catch and throw and kick the ball

At least Dallas didn’t cave for this idiocy. They wore their white throwback jersey and white pants. Looked like a modified version of their inaugural uni. I hate this marketing ploy Keep the normal unis, they look better.
