MacKeeper responds to the fact that they don't keep their data sufficiently secured by essentially saying that their record show that only one intrusion got in. . . the white hat guy, so "No harm, no foul" since he hasn't shared the data he got. But, how do they know that a black hat hasn't been in who was more adept at covering his tracks? And the question remains "WHAT IN HELL WAS MACKEEPER DOING WITH THOSE DATA IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?" -- PING!

Just say "Hell NO!" to MacKeeper!

Related -(semi) -historically significant... perhaps. :)
MacKeeper seems to not be such a good thing, if you look into it.
Just My Humble Opinion...

Problem is all the websites that take money to allow MacKeeper popups whenever they return a Mac browser. High and mighty websites at that.
You will not believe the number of big name photographers who fell for the scam and installed/paid for MacKeeper. It is an onerous task to uninstall MacKeeper since it places code into unlikely locations within the operating system.
EVERY MAC USERS NEEDS TO KNOW THIS IS CRAP.
