And now for a little badly needed sanity in our lives...
Some of you probably saw my previous American muscle car, customs, and classic, car threads. Included here are some models I didn't manage to get to on those threads. Namely, GTOs, Mustangs, 442s, Novas and Vettes, plus a few other misc. Sorry, only a few of the pics are labeled. A handful are illustrations or plastic scaled models. See if you can spot which.
There are over 100 posted photos here.
I'm on my way out the door now, so won't be around to reply. Hope you enjoy the cars and the memories.
I had a 68 Pontiac Firebird convertible with a 400 cubic inch engine. Love to have that one back but, sigh, I was in my late teens and had no place to store it.
I sold it for $800.00.
I like them with all original parts.

Praying that this is not a “Good Bye” due to health issues. These are great memories. Praying you have good health!

AIN'T I A STINKER?
Lol! No, I mean a “real” (wooden) door. Not that other metaphysical kind... I’m 58 and have never been healthier. I ride over 50 miles a week on my bike. You too have a great day and great health.
Thank you!
That was a great treat.
Those where the days my friend!
Most hopped up vettes just don’t look that good IMO.
Great thread!!
Rear spoiler just this one. Oh and the sweet grey rocker panels
I’m finishing a rebuild of my 67 Camaro convertible. I love all these cars though. You can’t tell the new cars apart, much less work on them.
No AC Cobra? (or did I miss it?) Had a friend in school who had original frame, original engine of AC Cobra- and bought a kit body- Awesome awesome car-
Had a change to buy a road runner when I was I n high school- (got sick and couldn’t buy it) but it’s a good thing I never did buy it- I wouldn’t be here typing now most likely
The Chevy Nova; a muscle car?
What muscle would that be?
Those are dead stock rear tail lights for a 67/68 Ford Mustang. The 65/66 were a single 3-part bezel, while the 67/68 were 3 separate cutouts with separate bezels.
Eeeaaaaahhhhhhkkkkkppppptttthhhhhhhtttttt gag!!!!!
Eye wash! I need some muscle car eyewash!
Thank goodness at least you didn’t post an AMC Pacer.
Mostly beautiful pictures, but I agree that messing up the clean lines of a Corvette is like spitting on the Mona Lisa.
You have entirely overlooked MOPAR vehicles, so I submit your post is a total piece of crap.
ahhhh... the days of my youth
