There's an internet meme going around that says, "There's something wrong with a country that thinks that healthcare is a privilege but owning a gun is a right".
Anyone have a good comeback for this?
Sure. “If you don’t like the Bill of Rights, GTFO.”
They should try one of those nice moslem countries.
There’s something wrong with a government that wants to disarm its citizens. It begs the question “why?”
I’m afraid they would relish your comeback as a compliment as it fits their lifestyle well.
Plenty of other countries you can move too ...
LIFE is a right and so is your
ability to protect it with a
firearm.
Maybe all guns should be taken
away,they say?Fine,the Hollywood
celebs and politicians pushing
for gun control should set an
example and disarm their bodyguards.
Easy
Part of life liberty and happiness is being free.
Healthcare is a dependent right based upon the others
The right to bare arms protects the most basic rights of Life Liberty and Happiness.
Healthcare can be seen as a part of those three.
The problem with the left is that the health care they provide is really no better than what is given at a county hospital for indigents. I know this is true. I have used the British NHS and the Hong Kong clone of the NHS. In fact when my oldest daughter broke her arm in Houston the county hospital in Harris County provided better care than the British NHS.
Thus, the US has healthcare comparable to the socialized systems in Europe it is just those systems are run by California, Texas, New York or Kansas.
Socialized healthcare turns populations into slaves.
Healthcare isn’t a privilege. It’s a combination of services and commodities. In other words, if you want some, you need to earn the money to pay for it.
There is something wrong with people who want to take peoples guns and steal their stuff.
When governments do this, it is called tyranny.
“Well, Cuba is where you should live then. You can get a direct flight now.”
Nobody forces you to buy a gun if you don’t want one. And nobody forces you to buy someone else a gun. Unlike with health care.
How about this:
There is something wrong with countries that want to disarm you and take your stuff.
Two words: Banana Republic
I like it but I will add, There is something wrong with people that want their country to disarm you and take your stuff.
