New emails contradict Clinton Benghazi testimony

Hillary Clinton may have come out relatively unscathed from the recent House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing, but new emails released by the State Department suggest that she may have lied during her testimony -- or at the very least misremembered some key details: "

Newly released emails conflict with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's 11-hour testimony before the Benghazi Select Committee, according to a review of the transcripts and public records.

One of the conflicts involves the role played by Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal.

Regarding the dozens of emails from him, which in many cases were forwarded to her State Department team, Clinton testified: "He's a friend of mine. He sent me information he thought might be of interest. Some of it was, some of it wasn't, some of it I forwarded to be followed up on. He had no official position in the government. And he was not at all my adviser on Libya."

The usual Clinton strategy comes in three parts.

1. We didn’t do anything wrong

2. We didn’t know we were doing anything wrong

3. You can’t prove we knew we were doing anything wrong

And, when all else fails, a bonus fourth strategy:

IIRC, she was sworn in before the hearings started on TV. She was UNDER OATH. Please, bring her up on perjury charges. Loretta Lynch will probably use 'prosecutorial discretion' to exonerate Hillary!, but the charges themselves should carry some weight. I mean, who was it that it was said about 'it is not the weight of the evidence, but the seriousness of the charges'. Please help!

don't Republicans understand. All Clintons are above the law and lie, actually they change what they say happened to fit the audience. They don't think of it as lying or perjury, its just the way they view the world. Words don't have meaning to Democrats, they are just used to move people through time for their political ambition.

Elijah Cummings is a liar, a hypocrite, and a traitor because he CLAIMED to be serving on the panel to see that THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH were told that day.

Then he used his time to attack the Republicans in Congress over contemporary budget issues and did not give a Demorat’s stinky @$$ when Hillary REPEATEDLY was not forthcoming with names and details that had to be pulled out of her by Mr. Gowdy. So much for WHOLE TRUTHS. She also lied. So much for THE TRUTH. She also continued to pad out answers and defend the claims that a video was the cause (couldn’t admit it was a fraudulent claim). So much for NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

It came out that we toppled a head of state because of the lobbying efforts of Sid Blumenthal on behalf of some third party. It also came out that we were arming ‘insurgents’ (in Libya and who knows where else). The ‘embassy’ was partnered with the CIA. How often are we upfront about such seditious actions?

Would we stand for it if a foreign power was gun running out of an embassy here to topple the government?

Clintons are allowed to lie under oath. The Senate Democrats established that in 1999.

What if the head of the FBI decides that the case against Hillary is overwhelming but Lynch refuses to prosecute, and he resigns? Obama probably already has some black person in mind to appoint (as acting head of the FBI) in such an eventuality...so the news media would obsess about how wonderful it is to have a black person heading the FBI and ignore Comey's reasons for resigning.

When Putin finds the arms that were sent from Venezuela to Benghazi to Syria to overthrow Assad, Putin should go to the Hague and demand they bring action against the Government of the United States...including every House and Senator and government official that was involved in this...
