Tributes have been paid to a Tennessee man who was 'mauled to death' by a stray dog he had adopted on the day he died.
Anthony Riggs was attacked by a five-year-old male Rottweiler that had been taken in by a county-run animal control facility.
"He never hesitated to be with dogs. Sometimes I thought he related to dogs better than to people," his ex-wife Adrienne Riggs told the Jackson Sun.
"Tony was a good man and a loving man and a good person with animals and he didn't deserve to die the way that he did."

She added: "A docile dog does not turn in three hours and kill somebody. Something was wrong.
"You just can't put a dog that may be dangerous out with an unsuspecting family. That's just wrong."
His wife Kathy Riggs told police she found him dead on the floor after returning home with colleague Teresa Sanchez.
The canine bit both of the women before running out of the house explained Ms Sanchez. Police then arrived and shot the animal.
"He wasn't growling or showing teeth - he just bit us like he did it all the time or something," she wrote on Facebook.

I was gonna say this man was USA and the dog an adopted Syrian refugee.

Not all of course, but just like radical islamists, it only takes one to kill and maim.
Smaller, older rescue dogs are just as unpredictable, just not as likely to kill a human.
My corgi was attacked once by a Pit Bull while we were on a walk. I would never own a "bully breed" dog.
Now we do have animal shelters, one of which is a no-kill shelter. They don't euthanize unless the animal is terminally ill or way too aggressive to be placed with anyone. Remarkably, they have had some success with pit bulls and other breeds from dog fighting operations and other horrific situations. Some aggressive dogs can be rehabilitated, but sadly, many cannot. But each dog has to be assessed by a behavioral therapist. I suppose most animal control/pest control facilities don't have the staff or the money for such an assessment.

Do you mean the bear? If so it is public knowledge. The idiot lived with Alaskan brown bears,often saying “I love you bear.” The bears did turn and did eat him and his girlfriend. There was a tape with her screaming “It tore off my arm.” The Forest Service won’t release the tape of their being eaten alive. There bodies were found eaten.
If you mean IQ’s the figures stated have been well known since the early twentieth century.
