These “Experts” probably never had a cat in their lives.
I’ve had over 20, never spent a minute without cat, other than a painful 6-month stint in the frozen north for work.
This is hilarious.

What would the internet do without cats and what would cats do without the internet? ;-)

Our Cocker Spaniel used to come from anywhere in the house looking for the puppy when our children would watch Lady and the Tramp. The early scenes of Lady howling and whining when the Darlings first got her would make Katie frantic to find the puppy. She would look behind the TV convinced there was a puppy in distress back there.

The cat I used to have would do that with the Jingle Cats CD. My dogs do the same when I play the dog barking version of Jingle Cats.

This sounds like some kind of existential Beat poetry: Placing Cucumbers Behind Cats ...
And wouldn’t you know, there’s got to be some hand-wringing Gladys Kravitz who just KNOWS that this is traumatic to kitties.

Our kitty hates anything that resembles a snake. ANYTHING... to be fair, I think she encountered them in the “wild” before we trapped her and made her a family cat. That being said, we had a GSD that despised pineapples. Hated them.. would show his teeth, poof out his mane and growl. I understand the snake thing.. the pineapple? Not so much.... :)

Somehow I'm thinking this practice began in San Fransissyco.
If you...ya know....catch my drift....

How do you become an EXPERT on cucumber pranks. What college? What courses do you take? My guess would be Lesbian Studies.

So, does this mean that I can put cucumbers in areas I don’t want my cats climbing on, and it will scare them away?
I have a cat who decides to leap tall furniture with a single bound, at midnight...
