FBI expands probe of Clinton emails, launches independent classification review

The FBI has expanded its probe of Hillary Clinton's emails, with agents exploring whether multiple statements violate a federal false statements statute, according to intelligence sources familiar with the ongoing case.

Fox News is told agents are looking at U.S. Code 18, Section 1001, which pertains to "materially false" statements given either in writing, orally or through a third party. Violations also include pressuring a third party to conspire in a cover-up. Each felony violation is subject to five years in prison.

One State Department lawyer involved in the alleged re-categorization was Kate Duval. Duval once worked in the same law firm as Clinton's current and long-time lawyer David Kendall and at the IRS during the Lois Lerner email controversy. Duval left government service for private practice in mid-September.

But its Bern Township, PA facility, doesn't have a perimeter fence or security checkpoints and has two reception areas.

Dumpsters were left open and unguarded, and loading bays have no security presence Datto, Inc, was in the network that stored classified messages from Hillary's controversial private email server. The Datto building in Bern Township, near Reading, PA, which the firm describes in glowing terms as a data fortress. But it has no fence surrounding it and no checkpoints.

If you read the last paragraph in the linked story, which I put in the comments section, this lawyer Kate Duval is isolated and being questioned by the FBI. She was on the IRS legal staff regarding Lois Lerner, too. I’m thinking this is a big squeeze.

From what I’m reading, the FBI Director may be gathering as much information as he can before he gets canned. After he’s canned there will be leaks.

This will reflect badly on The Zero and that’s all that matters to Zero and his minions. A pardon for Hillary won’t cut it.
