This is why Social Security is going broke. Congress raids it in the middle of the night.

I never really thought of where the money was coming from when they increased the budget ceiling.

It is more than time to replace these legalized robbers and also create term limits.

This is definitely one of the few things I agree with Rand Paul on, but his filibuster he told us to watch only lasted 20 minutes. Not much of a filibuster.

So our Social Security is going to Iran. I don’t remember the Republicans telling us that when they approved the Iranian deal.

I have been told by Romneybots that this wouldn’t happen under saint Romney.

Useful, if you can get it to stick.

It shouldn’t have happened under a Republican controlled Senate and House, but it did. I don’t hear Romney & George W. admonishing Congress for going along with Obama.

The RINOs save their vitriol for those running for President and for the Tea Party.

I meant the RINOs save their criticism for those running for President in the Republican party. Jebbie gave Hillary an award to give her more credence with the public. I guess the Bushes think if it isn’t a Bush, it should be a Clinton, since Bill is another brother.

*******

The money going to Iran is still sitting in banks where it’s frozen until the banks release it. The money they just voted on is probably just going to ship Syrians in.

term limits? It would backfire. They'd have to sell out harder and faster to get their goodies. Besides that, there'd be no threat of being defeated their last term in office.

What we need is to re-open Mansfield Prison in OH and lock away anyone who uses elective office for personal gain, for life.

Yeah, I'm that fed up.(

That they do.
They berate us for not supporting their liberal BS.
Then they berate us for their liberals losing elections, then they insist that you get less liberalism by voting for more of it.

“Not much of a filibuster.”

20 minutes of face time on the cameras. Par for the course.

Nope.

It was Iran’s money being withheld in bank accounts.

Not U.S. Tax dollars.

As bad as the Iran deal is, it wasn’t THAT bad.

Build a wall around the capitol building with an electrified fence on top. Issue the inmates orange jump suits. How can 535 criminals working in tandem destroy a republic?

Debates in the House of Representatives on the First Report on Public Credit 18 February 1790
James Jackson (Ga.)

But it is doubted with me whether a permanent funded debt is beneficial or not to any country.

The same effect must be produced that has taken place in other nations; it must either bring on a national bankruptcy or annihilate her existence as an independent empire. Hence I contend, sir, that a funding system, in this country, will be highly dangerous to the welfare of the republic; it may, for a moment, raise our credit and increase the circulation, by multiplying a new species of currency; but it must, in times afterward, settle upon our posterity a burthen which they can neither bear nor relieve themselves from. It will establish a precedent in America that may, and in all probability will, be pursued by the sovereign authority until it brings upon us that ruin which it has never failed to bring, or is inevitably bringing, upon all the nations of the earth who have had the temerity to make the experiment.
