Boulder, Colo. - If you watched tonight's GOP presidential debate held at the University of Colorado and hosted by CNBC, you may have noticed the moderators acted more like a Democrat attack team than journalists asking questions about policy.Â
Shortly after the debate ended, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus took to the spin room to slam the outlet, saying the network should be ashamed of their performance.Â
"I was proud of our candidates for standing up to a pretty hostile environment. I was very disappointed in the moderators. I'm disappointed in CNBC. I thought maybe they would bring forward a pretty fair forum here tonight but I think it was one gotcha question, one personal low blow after the other," Priebus said. "All I can tell you is that while I'm proud of our candidates for pretty much sticking together, I'm very disappointed in the moderators and I'm very disappointed in CNBC."

Gee, why did that scorpion I fondled sting me, du-uh?
I’m very disappointed in CNBC.”
...yeah. What a shocker.
Geee,.....
Maybe “Rinse and Repeat” should have held the Debate in Colorado Springs and you know picked some honest to goodness debate moderators instead of Journal-Whore-istic Hacks!
Ted Cruz had to frickin SCHOOL the moderators HOW to moderate the DAMN debate!
And Ted cruz would know!

The Frog and the Scorpion.
The RNC is the Frog.
The whining is for us out here, an attempt by the RINO leadership to get street credibility with the grassroots.
I’ll listen to Ted Cruz criticize the media because I think Ted means it, the RNC chairman is another matter.
Rinse and Repeat-us ‘aint too bright, is he?
Iâm very disappointed in CNBC.â
...yeah. What a shocker.
Idiot. Nobody with a brain would have thought that.
Indeed, what the heck did they expect? A tiger is a tiger and the press is liberal. If they want a real debate, get a real moderator and draft the questions themselves. What they have is a series of hostile multiplayer press conferences.
YEah no fricking kidding. Make them irrelevant. You KNOW anyone would pay big bucks to host the debate. Schedule your own debate. As moderators put Rush Limbaugh, Stephen Colbert and Howard Stern. Pack the audience with red meat conservatives. Charge big bucks to any station that wants to carry it live. Split the money among the candidates. No exclusive coverage. If anyone WANTS exclusive coverage charge them 50 times the amount and stipulate that not only do they have to play it live but have to play it again at least once during the day time as well.
I will never watch CNBC again. Who is John Harwood and how did he ever get this opportunity? Obviously Harwood should not have been involved. Ditto for the guy called Carl. That said, all the moderators were as bad.
Could it be that they have a point?
Why are you excerpting Townhall?? Post the whole article!
Well, DUH!
Rince is pi**ed because they failed to knock out Trump and they let Cruz make a good showing his best to date.
I will never watch CNBC again.
Tonight was the first time I ever watched them, no need to ever do it again.
Reince is either stupid or lying (or both) when he acts outraged about this. Not super qualities for a supposed leader.
This is what happens when people start smoking marijuana at an early age. They cease maturing into adults. So we have become a nation largely of juveniles.
