Off topic but for this crowd, anyone near LOS ALAMITOS ARMY AIRFIELD, JOINT FORCES TRAINING BASE in SoCal should make an effort to go the WINGS WHEELS ROTORS & EXPO tomorrow Sunday 10/25.

The F-20 was the Tigershark.
The T-38 is the flight training aircraft.

Were the T-38 and F-20 both derived from the F-5?Almost.
The T-38 was developed first. The F-5 followed and the F-20 came much later.

Yep. The first gatling gun was air turbine generator driven from their forward speed.

Northrop was developing their N-156T (T-38) and N-156F (F-5) simultaneously. And the trainer beat the fighter into the air by just 3 months
