That’s a low blow, man.

How is the truth a low blow?

That’s a low blow, man.

That's Trump.

Why? It happened in his term in office. Trump is not blaming President Bush for the attack.

Yeah, why does he always push the envelope.

I think Iraq invasion was a disaster but that has nothing to do with 9/11.

More like Clinton cutting back on every agency and too busy chasing women.

Hey if Bush wants to flat out lie, there is nothing wrong with grinding his face in it.

GW Bush also largely ignored the search for the mass murderer Bin Laden in favor of the Iraq invasion. In my view this was a crazy diversion of focus and resources based on bizarre assumptions (I remember Bush firing a budget type over his public assertion that Iraq would cost us $ 100 billion - it turns out it cost trillions; bin Laden needed to be nailed to the wall as soon as possible. I agree with Obama on virtually nothing but I will give him credit for taking out bin Laden.

That’s a low blow, man.

It's an easy shot for someone who has never had anything to do with national security.

I used to like that Trump spoke up for those of us that are voiceless.

More and more I'm becoming convinced he's just an asshole.

I agree. I remember the 911 wives, or whatever they were called, going all over using the “it happened on his watch” talking points. Well, Trump was donating to Hillary and Little Chuckie back then.

“That’s a low blow, man.”

Not at all. And what Bush did to protect the Saudis I will never understand...

Good. I’ve had enough of these “Marquis Of Queensbury Rules Only” Republican types - and the younger set have no patience for them either.

That is a low blow...Leave W alone, the man caught hell for eight years, let him be. The enemy is obummo & hitlery, and Trump has plenty of ammo on both, there’s no need to drag W into this.

"That’s a low blow, man."

I guess he could have tweeted W's own words…

"You know Bill Clinton made a lot of mistakes on Bin Laden, and I think he should apologize too. But I was at the wheel. It happened on my watch. I was warned. I didn't listen. And I am sorry. I really am. I could have done more to prevent these tragedies."

It’s not a low blow. It’s the truth.

And I hope Trump brings up how AFTER 9-11, Bush2 never secured the borders.

As others have well noted, GWB WAS warned in advance, but changed nothing about our defense posture.

Afterward, there are highly credible arguments as to the focus and overall effectiveness of his next moves.

Bin Laden was behind it, but GWB didn’t zero in on him; he got distracted with Iraq and dragged us through the whole “Where’re The WMD’s?” debacle, from which subsequent factual discoveries left him only partially exonerated.

Saudi Arabia backed up the hijackers, but GWB never confronted them about it, nor did he ever demand any form of recompense from them.

AND — as if that weren’t enough — his administration left us very likely forever saddled with “Mineta’s Morons”: the TSA, and a whole new FedGov conglomerate called the Department of Homeland Defense; BOTH of which are roundly and rightly REVILED.

NONE of those follow-on actions make me FEEL any safer, nor do any of them actually MAKE me any safer; they only cost me more tax money. [spit!]

Nearly fifteen years on, and we’d have been far better off wringing the Saudi’s necks over the 19 hijackers, and focusing global intel on bin Laden instead of letting him fade the heat under the auspices of our Paki “friends.”

“The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”

What was definitelya low blow was when GWB, during his first State of the union address, like some f’n mullah, foolishly claimed that Islam was a ROP and that the place erupted in applause. That’s when I realized that America was in deep, deep sh*t. I am even more convinced of it 13 years later.

dear boogie,

‘The President’ gets briefed about all the threats, by the CIA, NSA, and FBI, on a daily basis, even back then.

Bush was President. Yes, it was nine months into the office, but the threat analysis has been going on since the days of Truman.

It happened on his watch.
