Crippling blizzards, snowstorms and sub-zero temperatures threaten a yearly dose of Arctic misery for the next FIFTY YEARS at least - and possibly decades more.
Climate experts warn a rare pattern of water cooling in the north Atlantic will trigger a chain reaction of events leading to a “fully-blown ice age”.
The say the UK is on alert for a “serious climate situation” with regular winter whiteouts pushing emergency services to the limit.
I read the book. It reads like it was written by a journalist and it was but it is convincing.
DON'T YOU WORRY! There's plenty of time for you to do penitence! First, send in all your retirement fund, except if you are white or heterosexual, then send in twice the amount in your retirement fund. Declare that you are an avowed Communist, and pledge your support for an Obama third and fourth and fifth term. Call anyone who criticizes you a racist and a homophobe, and if they think to own guns, meet them with quick mob violence (to prove to them that they were paranoid to worry about angry mobs).
If anyone asks you how Manmade Global Warming caused an ice age, simply take them through this thought experiment: "Take an ice cube tray. Fill it with water. Put it in the oven and set the temperature to 350. In one hour, you will have ice cubes! That is how Global Warming caused the Ice Age!"

The cool water in the North Atlantic is RARE. You see, the whole world's got a fever, and it is mankind.
If certain people notice it is not getting hotter, but rather colder in certain places, then make up a scientific-sounding name like "The North Atlantic Rare Cooling Anomaly". This still fits within the 97% of scientists who say mankind is causing the Earth's temperature to go up, but we'll call it Climate Change, which, incidentally, will cause sea levels to rise, Florida and Manhattan to be underwater, and billions of poor people of color to die.
And cause Republicans to gloat and laugh. Don't forget that part. They're Holocaust Deniers. Oops, they meant Climate Change Deniers. Not holocaust (same smear intended, though).
Did you know the 97% claim this year--2015--the hottest EVER!? It was 200/1000ths of a degree warmer. But don't tell anyone that very few thermometers calibrate that well.
The SCAM simply MUST go on!

Sure seems to be coming true, from all the signs I’ve seen.
To me, the ironic part of this entire Global Warming Hysteria has been that everyone seems to ignore the REAL threat: a return to Ice Age conditions.
We don’t REALLY know what causes them. But, we do know we are over-due for the next one. How does Detroit survive with a mile of ice on top of it? Not that well, I’d guess.
I say, we take over Mexico right now... to be ready.

I know the global warming fruitcakes are trying to “change the weather” legislatively. And, they’ve gained a huge foothold in this effort. The thing I worry about the most is if they’re able to convince the government to attempt change in a mechanical fashion. I wouldn’t put it past these folks to detonate nuclear weapons in an effort to create a “little nuclear winter” to offset GW.
Yes, "they" are blaming the cold water near Greenland on the Greenland Ice Sheet melt. Even though the Greenland melt was the shortest ever this year and Greenland lost less ice then normal. "They" simply can not admit the Nature not Man drive climate. A nice 50 year cold spell might cure "them" but I doubt it.
Then I learned about the Little Ice Age.
Though the article talks about the Thames freezing over, while that used to happen, it is very unlikely to happen any more. While the temperature may drop to those levels, the Thames used to be much shallower and slower flowing than it is today.
It has been significantly deepened and channeled, so that its banks are relatively much higher, and the water flows too swiftly for ice to accumulate. This was necessary for navigation by larger ships, not the shallower draft wooden ships of the 19th Century.
A full-blown ice age is going to be a bit longer than 50 years. Mile high ice sheets like those of the last ice age take many millennia to form and advance.
Even the last mini ice age lasted centuries and were certainly not man-made.
50 years is a minor blip in the history of the earth and mankind.
Finally, these are predictions from the same people who say the science is settled. We’ll see and mankind has weathered worse although having Detroit under a mile of ice might be considered positive “urban renewal”.
