Fun Political Quiz Reveals Candidate You Line Up With The Most

The ISideWith.com‘s quiz is my new favorite thing. I’ve taken a lot of a political quizzes, but this is by far the most thorough. It hits all the hot issues– immigration, education, domestic policy, foreign policy, healthcare you name it. Each question asks you to rank the issue from least important to most important, which is another neat little feature.

There’s also the option to answer additional questions in each category. If you’re looking for the most accurate results, I definitely suggest doing so. It only takes about 15 minutes tops.

According to my quiz results, Sen. Ted Cruz is my guy. I agree with him on 93% of the issues surrounding the 2016 Presidential election. (I KNEW I picked the right guy.) Ben Carson wasn’t far behind, at 91%. That works out great for me, since he’s my second choice right now. Out of all the GOP candidates, John Kasich came in last at 65%.

I remember this, it just maybe 3 months ago or so it was posted here, I pinged a bunch of people to the thread.

Almost no one got Trump very high.

Interesting. I went through the entire quiz, including the optional questions. Even though I’m a Trump supporters, Ted Cruz was on top with 92% and Rand Paul (shudder) followed with 91%. Trump ended up being 88%. But I’m still going with Trump.

Although I want a Trump-Cruz ticket (unless he really is going for universal health care, which I don't think he is), in terms of positions, Trump would normally be my enemy, which is why he's right down there with Jeb on my test.

But 60% of 78% is more than 25% or 94%. Some of his political philosophy is a little sucky, but someone has to turn the ship. I don't see Cruz doing that, at least until the country gets to know him. Cruz is right on everything, yet polling at 5%. The country is too stupid for him now, unfortunately ... he doesn't have the type of charisma that can win a country over after being a senator for one term - he needs time in front of the US.

... WE NEED A BENIGN CULT FIGURE. Trump is getting 25% of the lemming black vote and even some of the lemming democrats. You can't turn a ship if the crew won't heed your command. (note: not all blacks are lemmings, but all democrats are lemmings)

Does anyone here REALLY believe Cruz, at least at this point in his political career, can win a general election? I LOVE him, but that doesn't mean he can MOVE the country, YET.

Surprise...from the lean of the Q/A, figured Paul would be at the top ... I can go along with the Cruz, Not Santorum/Rubio/Paul— figured Carson and Trump ‘better’.

Baffled I am so high with HRC and definitely surprised I am so high on Sanders.

Well I have issue with people making under $25,000 paying nothing. Everybody should be a stakeholder. I also have other ideas about how we should be taxed (check my profile page for the way I would do it). I believe in a reverse progressive system in which the lower income people pay the higher percentage in taxes. That way we are encouraging and rewarding success and not penalizing it.

But I could learn to live with Trump's simplified tiered flat tax plan. It's definitely better than what he have now.

I wasn’t sure about protecting federal land because I dont know enough about the issue. I know I dont like them taking land left and right over some bug or weasel.

I also wasn’t sure about the religious freedom question because I am afraid with the way things are going muslims will say sharia law is protected by religious freedom.

Of course for the final, if it is Trump, was still way better than Hillary. Although I wouldn’t put much stock in this quiz - it said I agreed with Hillary 17% of the time!!
