In about 90 minutes, Donald Trump will be devastating SeeBS idiot Stephen Colbert. Normally the little weasel's "Late Show" is must-not-watch-teevee but tonight's offering ought to be great as Mr. Trump plays 3-dimensional chess against a leftist peanut brain.
Colbert is still mewing and puking from Ted Cruz's jujitsu moves on him last night. Senator Cruz brought a gun to a knife fight but all Colbert had was a spork.
This thread ought to be as good of a place as any for FReepers to comment on the unraveling of an unfunny, unintelligent, unhinged leftist by a true zen master, Donald Trump.
BTTT
Me too!!!
Very insightful!
I agree!
Six on CSPAN in what time zone?
I’m glad you watched, too!
Onyx pinged me to another thread that said Trump was having a town hall in SC at six Eastern time on CSPAN.
Thanks. I’ll be watching.
Glad to oblige, onyx. I'd love to see Sarah Palin host a late night show of this type -- only far better. Not only is she shrewd and intelligent but she also has what's known in the industry as high-Q score since she's widely appealing and sincere. Even in a venue such as late night TV, she'd be able to harness both her smarts and well-honed sense of humor. Ratings would go through the roof if she were on one of the major networks. And with Colbert tanking -- badly -- CBS would be wise to bring her in.
Plus, I'd give anything for her to have commie Bernie Sanders as a guest. She'd leave him gasping for air and he's probably have a heart attack on live television!
Don’t know if I can stand to watch this idiot.
Just came on here. I could have watched Perry Mason.
Beautiful suit and red tie!!!
Did you notice how ill fitting Colbert's suit jacket was? He has apparently gained weight as it was pulling tight below his chest, and he couldn't even button the bottom button. There was a huge gap. Towards the end of his monologue, Colbert had his hands together over the paunch/belly gap.
I thought the “I dabble” thing was pretty funny actually. (I’m a Christian). Of course if one thinks about it too much - “dabbling” is pretty sad. I thought Cruz came off well in the interview. I look forward to watching the Trump interview on youtube.
It was also apparent how imposing Donald Trump was compared to the little weasel. Colbert was clearly intimidated by Trump, demonstrating an obvious case of the "Little Man Complex". Trump's booming, resonant voice filled the theater whereas lil' Steffy squeaky tones needed a microphone to be heard.
I honestly think Ted was treated as fair. The thing about Trump is that he is a ratel... What is called honey badger in the US. Do a little research on this top predator in Africa the size of a Maine Coon Cat.
One will stand down a pride of lions. A mating pair will feed their cubs the flesh of that pride. It makes me crack up constantly that you don’t even have to photoshop Donald’s mullet onto these things. I swear they look like him.
Colbert was scared of Donald. He had good reason to be.
Ever consider he is pregnant?
Butt baby ?
Thanks for all the updates of Trump appearance on Colbert.
Us left coasters will not see it for another 75 minutes.
Be sure to watch the first part to see the rat dragging a huge slice of pizza down the steps...also, mute the sound when you see Colbert sporting a purple wig, and purple eyebrows.
I was really surprised that Colbert is such a lightweight. And he thinks he’s funny?
What a joke. And Trump really handled him.
Trump was trying to discuss serious issues while Colbert made stupid comments and jokes like a 13 year old stoned boy.
Can’t stand Colbert. How does anyone watch this a**hole?
I watched him for the first and last time.
OMG!
Dying over here lol!
Money Badger.
You're not alone. After an admittedly impressive share of the audience on the debut night, his ratings have been steadily sinking thereafter. Sure, he'll get a healthy bump from Senator Cruz and Donald Trump, but what remains going forward are D-list "celebrities", third-rate conversation and unfunny "humor". Mark my words, lil' Steffy Colbert will get the axe by the end of the year.
