Chelsea Clinton may be, like her mother, a little hard to pin down as a personality, but three things seem inarguable after reading that email: She has a big heart, she writes an excellent policy paper and she is verbose. The voice you hear there addressing “Mom” and “Dad” — both wonky and sweet, impassioned and didactic, a little self-conscious — is pretty much the same one we hear in her new book for children, “It’s Your World.” It’s clear that she indeed wrote it herself, all 400 or so earnest, methodically compiled pages. The book is meant to help kids feel empowered and get involved in making change in the world, and at that length, it’s indeed a mini-behemoth in a genre of children’s books that don’t involve magic and are not written by the likes of J.K. Rowling or Rick Riordan.

Ha! In 2005, it took a FReeper to teach me the difference between ‘who’ and ‘whom’. I still mess it up, because the old bad habit is so well ingrained!
A child who never grew up
It is a difficult one. Chelsea tried to use it correctly and then structure her sentence in a manner that doesn’t even read well

Had she used “who” in both places where she used “whom”, she would have been correct. There were other grammatical errors in her letter.
It seems the money her parents spent to have her educated at Sidwell Friends and then Stanford University was wasted. Ah, well, I guess having rich, famous, and liberal parents can overcome any lack of academic qualification to get into a top university.
