Hillary’s lost emails have turned into dark matter.

You’re not gonna’ like this, but if it is dark, how can it be seen? And if you cannot see it, how can you make an experiment to prove it exists when none of it has been found? Just a question, don’t think too hard SC.

Some wit commented that dark matter sounds much more realistic and plausible when you substitute the word “magic” for it. For example:
“Bullock thinks that magic might instead be complex, something that interacts with itself strongly in the way that ordinary matter interacts with itself to form intricate structures like atoms and atomic elements. Such a self-interacting magic, Bullock suspects, could exist in a magic realm,” somewhat parallel to our own light sector, but detectable only through the way it affects gravity.

Here’s my problem with a lot of physics theories as a physics major many years ago... no one talks about measurement system analysis (gage R&R for manufacturing folks) in any of their papers. Which means that all of their fudge factors may actually be accounted for due to the measurement systems they are using and therefore independent of any real physics driven issues. Show me a paper that talks about their MSA and I’ll back away, until then I’ll keep pushing that they have no proof beyond theories unsupported by hard, HARD, evidence.

We can't "see" gravity, but we can see and measure its effects.
That is what these scientists are doing with regard to Dark Matter.
Similarly, we can't see Hillary's deleted emails, but they seem to be having a negative effect on her candidacy.

These papers/essays/interviews that are published in the main stream press are stripped of anything that would scare an 8th grader.
When I looked at some of the source papers, gage was mentioned and there was sufficient rigor to blow my mind and assure me that the i's were being dotted and the t's crossed.

Picture how the solar system bodies orbit the sun. Outer planets take longer to make an orbit than inner planets. That same sort of action ought to take place as stars orbit the center of mass of their galaxies. But galaxies don't behave that way, they more or less rotate as a unit. If the solar system did that, a Jupiter year would be about the same as an Earth year, and in turn about the same as a Mercury Year. Dark matter has been proposed to explain the "orbit" observations, of stars relative to their galaxies.
Not saying that proves dark matter exists, but I haven't heard of an alternative mechanism to explain the observations.

And if you cannot see it, how can you make an experiment to prove it exists when none of it has been found? They can detect it by its gravitational effects on other objects, such as galaxies. According to standard physics, the further stars are from the center of their host galaxy, the slower they are supposed to orbit. However, observations show that these outer stars orbit at faster than expected rates. Therefore theorists conclude that some mysterious force must be at work. A good candidate is gravity exerted by an invisible source. ie, "dark matter"

All “dark matter” really is is a measurement of how wrong current theories about the forces acting on galactic scales are, combined with a religious unwillingness to abandon them.
