YES! Magazine is a leftist social justice warrior (SJW) publication, of course.

...Will Raging White Guys Succeed in Hijacking Sci-Fi’s Biggest Awards?
I can’t for the life of me recall reading much science fiction written by black guys. Can anyone enlighten me?

This is how the homosexual supremacists got homosexuality removed from the American Psychiatric Associations Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Illness.
So it's OK when Lefties do it, but not OK when somebody else does it?

A clear evidence of leftist ideology is the inability of the proponent to know when to shut up. The article is 90% too long, making it a genre tactic of leftist ideology. Make the complaint so long and dreary it will be unnavigable. Thus it will not be directly dissected.
Keep in mind a blob is consistent in all its parts. Examining any sentence in this article is sufficient to remove it from consideration.

This sort of reminds me of the old joke which asked why there were no Arabs on Star Trek.

GamerGate has really damaged their credibility and ability to hold an audience. Desperate shrieking is all that remains.

Larry Correia is an excellent author. I enjoy his work greatly, he also does blog posts where he lays it out there like he sees it and argues effectively when the left start doing their “feelings”. Very sharp.

Having tumbled on this a while back I bought a membership and participated this year. It wasn't entirely political; with your membership you get an ebook of virtually all the nominees so it turned out to be a pretty good deal. Far cheaper than to buy them retail.
Science fiction had really degraded into a cesspool of junk and discovering the sad and rapid puppies led me to a whole vein of writing that harkens back to the salad days of the genre.
And there is simply no way not to enjoy the whole Monster Hunter universe.

God. I'd forgotten about this. The brouhaha was only about the nominations, wasn't it.
Sucks to be a SJW science fiction writer these days, and still claim that you're open-minded and tolerant.
