I hope there will not come a day in the United States when all of us are spectators except for a few who are out on the field
I hope all Americans will be on the field

Some parents would consider that torture! Didn’t see any obese kids. Awesome!

It was 1960 or something, and none of us were jaded yet to propaganda .... we were STILL the big winners of TWO war theaters !
I'm pretty sure a hundred guys all the same height, weight and build were hand picked from central casting
Be that as it may ... I remember the fitness program when in high school

I remember well the Kennedy exercises in PE. For girls, sit ups, push ups and jumping jacks. Sure separated the fit from the unfit. We were graded on it too.

I don’t remember this program. I was to busy running track, playing football and baseball and playing killer dodge ball in the gym! And just riding my bike as fast as I could and as far as I could go.

I have a presidential fitness medal received when Reagan was president - hadn’t thought about that in years.

I had forgotten about ridin' my bike as fast as I could
I don't know how fast I got ... 20, maybe? ... but I never gave it a thought that I would wreck or hit anything or one ... and I never did
Damn, I was reckless

JFK had a good idea but it got blown out of the back of his head.

Yep. Had this when I was in high-school under Reagan.
George Allen the ex-Redskins coach was the program spokesman.

You are correct...it’s more of a reminder to view it again, but thanks for the heads up.
