A Cambridge Professor has made the astonishing claim that three scientists investigating the melting of Arctic ice may have been assassinated within the space of a few months. Professor Peter Wadhams said he feared being labelled a looney over his suspicion that the deaths of the scientists were more than just an extraordinary coincidence. But he insisted the trio could have been murdered and hinted that the oil industry or else sinister government forces might be implicated. The three scientists he identified - Seymour Laxon and Katherine Giles, both climate change scientists at University College London, and Tim Boyd of the Scottish Association for marine Science - all died within the space of a few months in early 2013. Professor laxon fell down a flight of stairs at a New years Eve party at a house in Essex while Dr Giles died when she was in collision with a lorry when cycling to work in London. Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland. “climate change scientists?????”
Isn’t that a oxymoron?
By Zeus, I think he’s on to Something Big here.
The metal keeps the corporations' thoughts out, but yours can still be projected through the holes. Oh, and he was also smart enough to get a metal one. The plastic colanders are a rip off and don't work. Because they are plastic.
Absolutely. Only warming extremists benefit from their deaths.
Unless some saw him struck, electrocuting a guy and dumping a body isn’t hard to do.
But most likely he did get struck by the natural kind.
Did Dr. Boyd post on Free Republic?
Sounds as if he got zapped by the Viking Kittens.
They were killed by “environmentalists” before their report of the end of the global warming crisis could be completed and published. They were also about to tell of the new, more serious crisis of two mile high glaciers destroying every city north or the Tropic of Cancer.
I thought they locked the doors and drown in a pool of their own crap.
Maybe it was space aliens trying to help the planet.

Three fewer phony environmental "scientists" ... it's a start.
One died at a New Years Eve Party? Kind of a ways back, isn’t it?
Hard to arrange lightning strikes.
Getting hit in collision with a lorry when cycling to work in London is not all that uncommon. Phoenix is real good at it.
Actually, they were eaten by polar bears. The bear population has surged to such an extent that they ate starving for lack of food as the ice increases every year, cutting them off from their primary prey, seals and sea lions.
Nah. Big oil would do a better job than that.
Not enough time to resolve itself.
Dis somebody mention Karma yet?
Must have been some “burnt” signs around.
Laxon fell down a flight of stairs because he was blind DRUNK (new years, you know). Giles got croaked by a truck because she ran the stop sign at the corner (any body ever see a bicyclist who would stop at a stop sign), cyclist’s run stop signs all the time, traffic rules don’t apply to them don’t you know.
Boyd got the big ZOT because he was walking around out on the Scottish Moors during a storm, he was the highest point around for the lighting strike.
Stupid people do stupid things and ultimately wind up paying for them.
Would the professor’s hypothesis will be falsified if there were a 20 year hiatus in climate scientist deaths? Or is his theory as well established as CAGW?
Lightning? We know who owns that one !! g
