A Cambridge Professor has made the astonishing claim that three scientists investigating the melting of Arctic ice may have been assassinated within the space of a few months. Professor Peter Wadhams said he feared being labelled a looney over his suspicion that the deaths of the scientists were more than just an extraordinary coincidence. But he insisted the trio could have been murdered and hinted that the oil industry or else sinister government forces might be implicated. The three scientists he identified - Seymour Laxon and Katherine Giles, both climate change scientists at University College London, and Tim Boyd of the Scottish Association for marine Science - all died within the space of a few months in early 2013. Professor laxon fell down a flight of stairs at a New years Eve party at a house in Essex while Dr Giles died when she was in collision with a lorry when cycling to work in London. Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland. Professor laxon fell down a flight of stairs at a New years Eve party at a house in Essex while Dr Giles died when she was in collision with a lorry when cycling to work in London. Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland.
Did Global Warming shoot them?
Any fool can see ice increasing not melting. Only one group has a benefit to offing scientists who would admit that. It aint the extraction guys.
A plausible theory.. Or theories.
one stumbled, one wobbled and one got zapped..
What are the odds of that happening in any industry or specific field of endeavor? Probably pretty slim.. But.. Stuff happens too.
No one wanted to publish my paper, so I had to go into creative writing.
Polar bears ...
It’s pretty hard to control that lightning, but I bet he thinks that Big Oil could do it.
They were killed by eskimos who are sick and tired of freezing their butts off and want to stop Science!(tm) from stopping Global Warming.
It is very obvious that Big Oil killed the three scientists using climate change. The first one probably slipped on ice caused by climate change. The second one was hit by a truck probably because of poor visibility caused by climate change. And the third one... Climate change obviously caused the lightning that killed him. So of course they were targeted by Big Oil and killed by climate change... how could it be anything else?
And he feared rightly.
He IS a looney.
Along with all of his other ilk that really believe that arctic ice is doing any more than seasonal melting and due to variations of long term solar output.
“Dr Boyd is thought to have been struck by lightning while walking in Scotland.”
Was an oil company employee seen handing Dr. Boyd a 5-iron and demanding he hold it high over his head?
Especially that lightning event. Woo-hoo!
Bkmrk.
If Mary left London and was traveling west at 2 miles an hour, what time did the lorry have to leave the terminal in order to pass her at that particular intersection where no one is around.
Going through this little routine makes me think it was indeed an accident.
Pretty sure that being “struck by lightning” is low on the conspiracy list...
Were the results of their investigation showing that global warming is a hoax?
Well, it’s a start...
Shame when these things happen in threes.
A nice baker’s dozen might have helped cool things off a little.
