Sen. Ted Cruz continues to defend Donald Trump on immigration.
Cruz (R-Tex.), in an interview with "Meet the Press" praised Trump for talking about immigration. Trump has made inflammatory comments about Mexican immigrants, leading Macy's and Univision to sever ties with Trump.
Cruz, speaking during his book tour in Marietta, GA., said he likes Trump, whom Cruz said is "bold" and "brash." Cruz said he's not going to attack Trump.

The Washington Post is salivating over this one. It doesn’t take much to imagine them up in the editing room wringing their hands with saliva dripping from their agape mouths chuckling loudly. For them this is a twofer.
The "some means all" lie is one of the left's signature techniques for low-information voter manipulation. "Oh look, a Republican criticized some members of your group! He must HATE everyone in your group!
And, pathetically, that lie works. It changes votes.
No. I said get nasty “real quick”. When someone posts, I may challenge them, but I don’t jump in their face and call them “liar” , “fool”, “idiot”, and other forms of name calling. But if you slap me, I will slap you back. That is the way people are. Always have been. Always will be.
I do believe those two could do a lot toward restoring this country. I am going to write to the Cruz campaign and encourage that alliance.
I heard Ted support Trump a number of times. He was defending both what Trump said and his right to say it. Trump even tweeted and thanked Ted.
These two have the same vision for the country. I hope they will get together.
Cruz said Trump has a “colorful way of speaking — it’s not the way I speak. But I’m not going to engage in the media’s game of throwing rocks and attacking other Republicans. I’m just not gonna do it.”
