NEW YORK (AP) -- On social media and red carpets, from New York to China, hairy underarms are having a mainstream moment.
Women are proudly showing off their growth on Instagram and YouTube, and it's not just Miley Cyrus anymore. Jemima Kirke of "Girls" flashed her fair-colored au naturel look - earning some cringes - at the June 1 CFDA awards, one of the top fashion events of the year.

Sorry but I prefer real women. Mostly of the Southern variety who groom themselves well, are ladies, have class, and manners.
Bingo.

I guess it depends on whether we are talking whisps of hair or a thicket that could double as a nature preserve.

I was out and about Saturday and saw a woman in a tank top that looked like she was smuggling a weasel under each arm. That was very funny. Thanks. I needed the laugh.

You and I have the same opinion on tatts, especially on women.
I was equally horrified to learn my daughter had 2 tatts. They are both on places that are covered by clothing.
Lucky for her that they are hidden Don't know what I would have done if they were visible.

“”Much of what women consider beautiful is based on standards set by men, so it’s refreshing to witness a woman-centered beauty movement,” she said.”
Yes, a woman centered beauty movement makes perfect sense - if you want to attract other women.
As a male, I drag a razor across my face every day. If I don’t, it starts to look like feral brillo pads are attacking my face. Brillo pads belong under the sink, not on faces. They also belong under the sink, and not in armpits exposed to the world.

The older I get, the smarter my parents were.
By now they’re on the Einstein, Tesla level of genius.
Just think, someday your young’uns will realise your high intelligence level.

You may think it communicates to men to go away. Some guys really like it. Cool. In that case it communicates "guys who aren't turned on by armpit hair, go away".

I have never shaved my armpits in my life and have rarely shaved my legs. Why?
Never had hair grow in my armpits, and the hair on my legs and arms is fine, sparse and white- even though I have a full head of brunet hair.
Maybe because of some American Indian ancestry? Who knows..anyway I’m grateful for this ‘abnormality.’

I just got much smarter in my daughters opinion. The house I told her not to buy has flooded. Now with tropical storm Bill bearing down on us, it is going to flood again. Mom knows stuff!

We once had a rabid feminist designer in our office, an acolyte of the natural school. And outlandish outfits. Leather mini skirt with big mesh stockings and fuzzy bunny slippers. Had a difficult time telling her she wasn’t quite suitable for meeting our clients.
That was decades ago but that image of bountiful leg hairs poking in every direction is seared in my memory.
Like a net was thrown over Sasquatch.

So God created woman, God placed hair in various areas on a woman’s body (for a reason), then God created a multinational corporation that manufactures, markets, and sells hair removal devices, just to remove the hair he placed on womens bodies in the first place?

Name one liberal not needing a net thrown over them. Can’t be done.

Relax people. It’s just hair.
