Warner Bros. Pictures announced on Tuesday that the life story of Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger is coming to the big screen in a yet-to-be named motion picture that will be directed by none other than Clint Eastwood.
The film will be adapted from Sully's book, "Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters," co-written with Jeffery Zaslow.

Of course you would have to write Liam Neeson into the movie trying to stop a terrorist on board and they have to land in the East River.
Clint Eastwood is one of the few who showcases real heroes in his movies. Liberals’ heroes are depraved individuals.
to make a believable picture you need someone who is genuinely conservative and patriotic.....
probably can do it like the “Airport” movies...intertwine enough personalities of the passengers into the movie and I think it could be quite good.
His movie(Flight)was kind of a rip-off of an old Cliff Robertson movie called "The Pilot".
...without the inverted MD80 clown-show.
Name of the movie? How about “Sully”? Duh!
Yes.
Entertaining at times, but not very believable in character, actions or situations.
When I want a good clean and sober movie, I watch “Clean and Sober” (1988) with Michael Keaton.
He was crazy good in “Birdman”. So was everybody in that movie.
But then they’re have to make Sully the terrorist.
What a twist!
This will be some of Eastwood’s best work. I love how he makes movies about real American Heroes.
The Gimli Glider was a decent made-for-TV movie...The story that should have been made into a movie was the 1982 incident when a British Air 747, Speedbird 9, flew through a volcanic ash cloud ..265 souls on board..all FOUR engines died..crew did an awesome job..it didn't get much publicity..
Seems like Clint is trying to document the last vestiges of American Exceptionalism before the country is gone.
I 2nd Neal McDonough.
Who will play him? Clint of course ant least for the ditching.. Sully was and old guy about to retire....I think you can make Clint look young enough to play old Sully/p>
Kevin Bacon?????
please no
Brad Pitt? You’d never know that he had a co-pilot either.
There’s a guy who’s looking to be fired, given the current administration.
United States has the mightiest military in the world for now - and a POTUS that refuses to use it to defend us.

Put a heck of a lot of aviation in there and I’ll go see it!
