Could explore what happened after the event and how one of the stewardesses all of a sudden has a deep fear of flying and can't even put on the uniform, let alone go into a jet. The Honorable Company of Air Pilots hosted in London the entire crew and bestowed them with honors but the lone dollars-in-my-eyes stewardess simply couldn't bear the thought of flying First Class to London with the rest of the crew and receiving a huge award. . .presented in Guildhall, no less.

That's been done superbly decades before..in"The High and The Mighty"...and that's still one of the best, most inspiring movie scores ever..

The Gimli Glider was a decent made-for-TV movie...The story that should have been made into a movie was the 1982 incident when a British Air 747, Speedbird 9, flew through a volcanic ash cloud ..265 souls on board..all FOUR engines died..crew did an awesome job..it didn't get much publicity..
