This fossilized beaver has been extinct for nearly 2 years.

I saw the headline and thought, "naw, Freepers won't go there."

Yep, they went there.

I am reading the top of the page and have yet to scroll down to comments but I know .... I know... that this thread could go in a very bad way and require much eye bleach....It’s like the accident that you know you don’t need to look at, but just can’t help taking a gander

The local High School's mascot is also The Beavers. The Girls' Varsity Volleyball team apparently did fairly well last season, making it to State Quarterfinals.

GO BEAVERS!

Beavers.
The pelted plague.
Log chewing, water joker.
Flat tailed rascals.
Hey, I hate them suckers.

You've been here long enough to know better than that. Of COURSE we'll go there.

Its probably extinct because the ancient people put a bullet in its head. Or a spear or whatever they used.
I wish they would die off all together so I could end my daily battle with them fat little suckers.

unlike the other species of ancient beavers found at the monument, this one appears related to the modern beaver

...and modern beaver is the best!
