Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still is asking for prayers for his daughter, Leah, whos had a setback in her fight against cancer.
The 5-year-old girl went into a hospital on May 5 to start the process of getting a stem cell transplant. The 4-to-6-week process involves high doses of chemotherapy at the outset.
Still posted on social media late Friday that Leah hit a pretty serious complication, with her liver affected by the chemotherapy.
They caught it early so hopefully it gives the doctors a better chance of stopping it from getting aggressive, Still posted. As you can imagine our minds are all over the place but were going to try and remain positive!
The girl was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. Doctors removed a tumor from her abdomen, and she started getting chemotherapy to kill cancer cells in her bone marrow. Shes being treated on the East Coast, and the Bengals have supported Stills decision to miss organized off season workouts in Cincinnati to be with her.

Prayer for Leah.
Prayers up,proudly
I thought she was in remission.... Or do I have her confused with another players daughter?
Devon Still was a very outspoken supporter of Laurne Hill, the college basketball player who recently passed of cancer...had met with her to discuss her situation and his daughter’s situation...
I pray for the girl and for the awakening of this man to the truth of the Gospel.
Prayers Up.
God Bless.
Father God,
We thank You for sending Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. We thank You through His death and resurrection, Christ Jesus won the victory. By Jesus stripes we were healed.
He is seated on the right side of the Father and His Name is above all names. Every knee must bow to the name of Jesus.
We speak to the cancer in little Leah. Cancer, in the name of Jesus, we command you to leave Leah. You must bow to the name of Jesus.
We ask for the Holy Spirit to flow through this precious little girl and renew every cell in her body and restore her liver.
Be with Leah’s father and mother. Give them hope, knowing that You are in control of this situation.
May Leah’s full recovery be for God’s glory. May Davin Steil’s testimony of answered prayer bring others closer to You.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
This Steelers fan is pulling for him and his family. On the field, game on. Off the field, we’re all with you in the struggle.
Prayers to the family and to the Bengals for letting Devon miss training sessions to be with her. The Bengals are a good team and I hope they’ll have a good season.
