Man its a sad, sad day when I find myself in agreement with the Communist Chinese. I believe in freedom of religion and before 9/11, I was a strong proponent for all religions, including Islam, to be left alone to worship as they saw fit.
Now, I have a severe issue with Islamists those who in the name of Islam rape, enslave, murder, torture and conquer. Being a tyranny, China has no such qualms. They will ally with Islam in battle to accomplish their goals and then they will turn on them and put them down all factions in the end plan on doing that to each other thinking that they will be the ones to come out as the victor.
Within their own borders, China has decided to preemptively clean house persecution there is no longer just for Christians
it is much more for Muslims where head coverings are now outlawed and they are being forced to sell items other stores do such as cigarettes and alcohol or lose their businesses. Long beards are now prohibited and I hear that China is pondering outlawing mosques. No more terror for you guys Communism is the big dog there.

Heh.
The Salesian brothers were no picnic, either.
:)
But, they did keep an orderly classroom!
What Sandra/Sultaana was told by the non-dhimmi judge in Florida was exactly what we are all told, namely, Driving is a privilege, not a right. And so to Sultaana and all the other Sultaanas out there, we say Smile for the camera or Take a bus!
Myanmar currently does not allow its Muslim minority families to have more than two children. They’ve seen what Muslims “evolve” into as they become a larger percent of the population.
This information may be dated, but I believe that China exempted its Muslim ethnic minorities from the national one-child only laws. That may have been a big mistake on their part.
we need the “Egypt Solution”
shut down the mosques. they are “terrorist factories”.
ChiComs don’t want others cutting in on their action.
How do you know it was a SHE?????
could have been a tiny guy :)
The other thing that the Chinese are doing is providing a counter weight to the corrupt Western banking system of fiat currency. They are buying up tons of gold and are trying to create an alternative to the Western fiat currency approach.
That is good, however as a conservative in a Western nation, I am still considered to be China’s enemy and debt slave.
So if the globalists lose their battle with China, they will retreat into their hideaways. The Chinese will still have a lien on this country.
Well, if they criminalized this peaceful practice below, it only makes sense they’d do it with Islam, which actually could be a threat...
Persecution of Falun Gong
The persecution of Falun Gong refers to the campaign initiated in 1999 by the Chinese Communist Party to eliminate the spiritual practice of Falun Gong in the People’s Republic of China. It is characterised by multifaceted propaganda campaign, a program of enforced ideological conversion and re-education, and a variety of extralegal coercive measures such as arbitrary arrests, forced labor, and physical torture, sometimes resulting in death.[1]
Falun Gong is a qigong discipline combining slow-moving exercises and meditation with a moral philosophy centered on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. It was founded by Li Hongzhi, who introduced it to the public in May 1992 in Changchun, Jilin. Following a period of meteoric growth in the 1990s, the Communist Party launched a campaign to “eradicate” Falun Gong on 20 July 1999.[2]

Will it be Obama or the Supreme Court who bans trade with China?
Reminding me that once nuns dressed like Ingrid Bergman and recruited girls like crazy. After the 60d, they went to dressing more like nurses and then without head garb. Their numbers fell off tremendously. The symbolism was important. In the early 60s, a sister who was a friend of mine told me that if her order abandoned the habits, she was there. It would be as if the Marines were to abandon their distinctive garb and wear the same uniform as the Army. Small things can matter a lot. Which is why the Redskins should not give us up their nickname.
Well, at least someone, somewhere, knows what the heck they’re doing with respect to Moslems.
One group has people with government oversight, something like the ACLU wants the IRS to do here. The other group operates without the oversight, but only foreigners and those with residence permits in Special Administrative Regions (like Hong Kong) are supposed to attend.
However, my daughter had a lot of regular Chinese friends and students accompany her. If the authorities questioned them, any excuse such as the following would do:
In short, there is already more religious freedom in China than the ACLU wants in the United States.
People do not look for easy lives, they look for meaningful lives that complete them. So that is one reason why Islam is attractive to some people. That is why Christianity once was attractive to some people.
The easier you make something the less people want it.
Well....maybe this will make the DEMS BAN CHINESE products from the USA???? /sarc

That's it? Only I've heard? No credible sources to prove or even suggest that "China" is in the process of "pondering" something so drastic as closing down mosques?
No, this article, along with its misleading headline, is basically click-bait. While it does have a few interesting points about China's restrictions on Islam, it really doesn't deliver what the headline promises.
(But then, what else is new on the Internet?)
There’s plenty of real info on China’s crackdown on Muslim Uighurs out there, but I haven’t seen anything new or unusual.
I hate to say it, but social media is better than blogs in that fake or misleading stories can get called out immediately.
In the Xinquiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (northwest China) there are around 12,000,000 Uyghurs with over a million in the capital of Urumqi. They are Turkic, related to Uzbeks and speak a similar language.
Han Chinese have been trying to “colonize” the region for decades by achieving rough parity with the Uyghur population.
The best that Beijing can hope to do is isolate the Uyghur population within the province proper while increasing Han numbers as before. The regime can do ethnic/religious cleansing in the rest of the country, but it’s a tall order even for a system where human rights are not a priority.
