Pretty neat, and I loved the enthusiasm of the announcer, that would be a trip on the fourth with colored smoke and maybe a better ignition system.

Hehe... Not bad. Lots of things wrong with it but, hey, they got, what?, one thousandth of the way to orbit probably for about one millionth of the cost NASA puts out.

That is cool. The pollution just adds to the awesomeness. I dearly hope that some small part of that smoke drifted over here and landed on EPA headquarters.

Gotta admit, though: structural integrity aside, those bamboo boosters make for one helluva great thrust-to-weight ratio. LOL!

Now that is really cool! How in the world did that thing have enough stability to fly straight up? And it even deployed the parachute while the structure was catching fire!

I really have to give them a lot of credit for imagination. That's a design concept I
never saw anywhere else, and I say that with a lot of respect.
The parachute recovery was icing on the cake. Very nice.
I'm thinking that design might not be scalable to reach escape velocity, but it's a start.

It was really cool, but I’ll betcha the pilot needs a few minutes to get his legs under him after touchdown ...
Was it an impatient Allen Shepherd who said “Light this bottle rocket!” (Mercury Redstone? I believe he had to pee.)
