So this is the coldest winter in the hottest year ever and the models allow for that. Six times ice ages have been ended with widespread, naturally occurring global warming and the models allow for that. The temperatures on mars and the moon have been increasing without people and the models allow for that . They would have better luck if the models work for fashion designers.

It is not sufficient to demonstrate that the recent 'hiatus' in temperature increases was due to 'natural variability'. The research must also demonstrate that the previous warming was NOT due to 'natural variability'. This is the Achilles Heel of the global warming cult.
Natural variability can explain the warming much of the early 20th century warming, much of the mid century cooling, much of the hated warming of the 70s to 90s, and the current 'hiatus'. When this is included in the models, the vast bulk of Global Warming disappears. This is particularly true when the bogus temperature "corrections" have been eliminated. If 'natural variability' is used to explain current temperatures, any honest scientist must also deal with previous temperatures.
