I was just watching a news conference where the mayor of Denver surrounded himself with illegals holding pro amnesty signs.
Doesn't the House have the power of the purse? Why don't they defund federal programs to sanctuary cities? Haven't these cities intentionally violated federal law regarding harboring fugitives?
If the politicians in those cities want illegals, let them fund the expense locally.
The short answer is that congress and the president like “sanctuary cities”.
Por La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada
They are not going to change the electoral college much. If they want to cheat, have fun. The rats are killing themselves with this. We just have to be vigilant and not allow them to infect our world.
Equal protection kind of puts the end to punitive actions from the fed. Though I don’t know if anybody actually test cased that back when Carter was so fond of holding highway funds hostage.
That’s delusional. You think illegals don’t go to Texaa, Florida, Arizona, the Carolinas or the Midwest? Flip the first two and you’ll never elect a Republican president again.
The issue isn’t sanctuary cities anymore.
Here in CA we have become a sanctuary state.
And since B.S. (Barry Soetoro) issued his executive order, we have become a sanctuary nation.
They are ringing the dinner bell for millions more illegal aliens to cross the border and replenish the Democrat Party voter base.
“Thats delusional. You think illegals dont go to Texaa, Florida, Arizona, the Carolinas or the Midwest? Flip the first two and youll never elect a Republican president again.”
I know... lost it there for a minute.
quickest way to “defund”
pro 2nd amendment states set up sanctuary cites using the same guidelines as immigration sanctuary cities..
but instead of immigration, apply it to those lawful gun owners, and legal guns not recognized or allowed in anti gun states..LOL
You don’t need to flip Florida.
It went for Baraq both times.
Right, but at least it’s still in play. Add a couple million new Democrat voters and it won’t be.
That’s not what it means.
Mayors and other city officials who break the law, in this case by failing to enforce the law, should be prosecuted like any other lawbreaker.
I have seen the irony already. In those areas where the Hispanics have gained a majority, they put up their own boy to run and unhorse the incumbent white Democrat.
Can you think of anywhere that has happened?
If cities/states can be allowed to make their own immigration policy, some might choose the active enforcement option.
IIRC, it was in Southern Calif. I did a search using “Democrats face Hispanic challengers” and found this:
http://www.nytimes.com/1984/08/16/nyregion/democrats-in-brooklyn-face-hispanic-demand.html
This is one is typical of politicians selling out:

There’s probably more if I use the right phrase, but I think Texas was another place where a Hispanic Democrat booted out a white one.
Karma lives.
Aiding and Abetting: It is derived from the United States Code (U.S.C.), section two of title 18:
(a) Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal.
(b) Whoever willfully causes an act to be done which if directly performed by him or another would be an offense against the United States, is punishable as a principal.
This has to stop or be stopped by someone with ther guts to say no entity is above the law for whatever reason.
One way to do this is make compliance to the law a prerequisite to receiving any federal funding for any program. If a state or muncipality sees fit to ignore this, it should be at their financial peril, not yours or mine.
Raul grijalva, Arizona. And now he just won’t go away. His district is like a banana republic.
