Harvard University has instituted a total ban on professors having sex with undergraduate students, strengthening language it said didnt reflect its expectations on appropriate relationships between faculty members and students.
Harvard said in a statement released Thursday the change came as part of a formal review of its policy on Title IX, the federal civil rights law prohibiting sex discrimination in education.
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences Committee on Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures determined the universitys language on relationships of unequal status was not strong enough.

That’s gonna be tough for these fine male specimens to keep away from all the good-looking-but-utterly-stupid liberal female students.
Now if only they would put a stop to the more abstract form of pederasty that pervades academia.
Now if they can keep them away from the sheep and goats in the 4-H barns.
Carl Sagan made quite the name for himself at Harvard before being caught and fired.
That was permitted till now??
Well, there goes the GPA at Harvard! If not for the occasional tit-for-tat, I figure a good portion of the students wouldn’t even GRADUATE!
We will see how this bares out on the college as a whole.
So what if your wife is a professor, and you decide to go to Harvard and get a degree? Does the sex stop?

Pederasty definition is for underaged having sex with adults. These students are not underage except for the few, pushed ahead geniuses.
I’m not saying it’s ok.....it’s just not pederasty.
Heh heh, I suspect with many of those teachers, it isn't the females they are interested in.
Not to worry, Graduate students are apparently still fair game.
Did he have "billions and billions" of Coeds?
I foresee a sharp drop in GPA’s.
Really? You've attended Harvard and know this to be a fact?
That is certainly true, too.
Well crap! I’ve withdrawn my application for a faculty position at Harvard. Does this rule also apply to administrators? I could modify the resume a bit... ya know.
Yup...really should be ALL students.
Well, there goes my plans to be a Harvard professor.
The part where I see a problem is unwed sex, and/or having an affair with someone while they are a student in your class, because that is a conflict of interest. Otherwise, it’s not much of a problem when an adult man is married to a younger adult woman.
