Netflix is having an extended outage this Tuesday afternoon, with users reporting on Twitter that it went down around 3:40pm PT, according to Downdetector.com. An hour later, Netflixs website remains inaccessible, and streaming on mobile devices doesnt work either. Netflix acknowledged the outage on Twitter:
Ive asked the company for more details, but have yet to hear back.
Developing story, more to come.
awl you fricks.....ale berong to us
Working OK for me
Ummm ... Netflix must not have paid their bill for “speeding up access” on the Internet, so the Internet providers THROTTLED them down! ... :-) ...

Their DVD delivery is also suffering. They say that the Post Office changed something on the first of the year and they claimed that, as their biggest customer, they would force the PO to capitulate...hasn’t happened. Discs are/were taking two extra days, at least, which increased our cost/disc substantially. We cancelled the service.
Most of the time Netflix keeps tabs on what I like so they stop offering it on instant stream.
Instead I’m treated to documentaries on sex and drugs.
Working ok for me. Are you sure you’re logged in?
Actually, the change was both a post office thing and a Netflix thing.
Netflix consolidated their dispatch facilities, requiring more transit times to further locations.
Soon thereafter, the post office adjusted next-day mail standards to two-day.
It was a double-whammy on the service.
Kin Jong-un? Maybe. My son and I watched, “The Interview”, last week on out Netflix account. To many hits, you know...
Netflix didn’t tell me the whole story, apparently. Not surprising, I guess.
Works for me... Maybe a DNS issue?
Just checked at 8:11 PM ET. It’s working using Roku.
Maybe it is just you
Both the site and streaming are working for me. As to their delivery slow-down, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has been experiencing it. I was blaming it on substitute postmen. Since the Christmas season, it’s been taking an extra day for DVDs to get to me. One disc took 4 extra days to get to me. When they’re late like that, I call Netflix and complain so they’ll send me the next DVD in my queue.
Worker productivity just took a bump upward.
I just love my Roku. It's the best.
Must be up and running again. We just watched a 30 minute tv show.
It has stopped working in Firefox on all my PCs, but does work in IE. What is going on? A stealth attack by Microsoft??
