What a nightmare.
If the Ft Worth PD had the sense God gave a turnip, that guy woulda been arrested and behind bars long ago after several documented acts of vandalism.
He’d still be alive (unfortunately), but the officer wouldn’t have needed to get shot.
It’s on the Fort Worth PD, and someone needs to investigate them.
No story with a guy name “Wendell” is going to turn out good.
And I can’t begin to tell you how nice it is to read the Star-Telegram without running across a Molly Ivins screed...
Sounds like the Fort Worth police department was responsible for getting one of their own shot because they weren’t willing to protect the public.
Wonder who was really protecting the creep.
I know a Wendell or two. They would not appreciate the name jabs....but they both go by “Wen”

He may have been clever, but he wasn’t smart.
I don’t understand why they couldn’t arrest him when he kicked in their front door.
A stalker and a perv. A DEAD stalker and a perv. I feel bad for the cop. A lower ab shot has got to hurt. And they’ll probably have to rework his plumbing because of it.
I attract stalkers. Why? I have no idea. I have had 3 romantic stalkers and 3 violent stalkers...One is actually a co-worker. I deal with it as best I can.
We had to sell our home outside Sedona because of one violent stalker, a bi-polar. It was the only way we could get away from him. Another bi-polar is right here where I live. He almost cost me my job because I confronted him in the street.
The co-worker (hates women and is an abuser) and mental stalker stopped when I told them that I had installed a pin point camera system all around the house and that they would be on video. It was the only way I could stop the property damage, which was significant. They still keyed my vehicle when it is at work.
They are a nightmare to deal with and these people have my prayers and sympathy.
