Skipping to the end:

Consider, if you will, what happens to a person who suggests that Sarah Palin is anything other than saintly. Right off the bat, they are accused of disliking America or Alaska or conservatives or mothers or the working class or even women in general and then they are informed that their hatred is showing. Next, their motives are questioned and their supposedly secret agenda is exposed for the world to see, for no right-thinking person could dislike Palin on the merits, natch. I hope you enjoy your elite cocktail parties, the apologists will say, and then they will huffily tell you that they hope signaling that you are one of them was worth it. And finally as is the case when one expresses disapproval of other cult figures, such as President Obama, Ron Paul, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Paul Krugman it is presumed that all animadversion must be motivated by envy or by snobbery or by secret admiration, and that it can therefore be safely ignored. What have you done, they will ask, that compares to my paragon of virtue? All told, its really quite pathetic.

Having been mercilessly and unjustly pilloried by the media throughout the 2008 campaign, Sarah Palin had a clear choice in its aftermath: She could sober up and prove the buggers wrong, or she could collapse into ignominious pasquinade. Sadly, she chose the latter. The rest of us should choose to move on.

It still blows my mind that America elected him, not once but twice. Obviously Obama was the least qualified candidate to run for office in recent history. I don’t care what some stupid MSM blowhards think, and I’m sure nobody else on this forum does either.
However, this not a general election against a joker like Obama; this is a primary election where we have several, much better options.
Someone who was never anything but a 'community organizer' can get treated "SERIOUSLY" and GET ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES ((((( TWICE !!!!))))), and people are saying
.... SARAH PALIN ..... "should not get treated seriously"
My friends who were present told me that Sarah Palin was much better received by those in the hall than it would seem from the posts on this thread.
Thought you might like to know that. :-)
On the other hand, it doesn't bother me when justifiably unknown bloggers at NRO degenerate into pretentious purple prose.
That’s GREAT..glad to hear that her speech was well received by those in attendance..the haters are always gonna find something to hate this woman about. She sneezes, they trash her, she gives a speech not to their liking, they hate on her for that. Meanwhile, Ben Carson can say that people who don’t want to bake gay “couples” a cake might put poison in their cakes but not a peep from the media about that one..he can call Christians basically murderers but hey let’s trash Sarah Palin
“If nothing else we know where you get your news.”
As they say in the old cliche, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
A caricature doesn’t get these kinds of speaking engagements..

Nope; as I said, I am looking more at Cruz or Walker, but of course I open to Rand as well. In 2012, I supported Rick Perry initially before eventually holding my nose for Romney in the fall.
There's only 2 people, other than Sarah Palin, that I would totally trust to "do the right thing" once they get into office....based on their 'street creds'
Ted Cruz and Scott Walker
As it happens, those are my two favored candidates for 2012.
That would be the same Rand Paul who sees nothing wrong with Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon???
Err, 2016 rather. Would’ve taken them over Romney in 2012 if I could’ve though...
And Normally Around Election Time.
Just Saying....
A very moderate W became a fire breathing monster.
An Arizonan from the center left became a member of the radical right.
A moderate leftist from Massachusetts became heartless, a man who killed some poor guy's wife.
Cruz is already being tarred as a bomb thrower who shut down the government, Walker as someone who stole money from teachers and dos shady back room deals. Just wait one of them starts gaining traction with the base.
The point is, they will ALL get the Palin treatment, and then lots of so called conservatives will start chiming in on how they're "unelectable".
Just like they did before, and are doing, with Palin. If you want to join in, be my guest.
So she’s a great speaker, but not much else. Great, we’ve found the Republican Obama...
You saying he likes trolling for Pike?
You have been exposed.
We know what it means. It’s pretentious — and therefore bad — writing.
