The door is firmly shut to Bill Cosby's return to NBC, the network's top entertainment executive said Friday.
'That's safe to say,' NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt said Friday when asked if the network would ever again do a project with Cosby, who 30 years ago was the sitcom king with the network's 'The Cosby Show.'
NBC's decision to sever ties with the 77-year-old comedian comes in the wake of multiple allegations of sexual assault against him, two lawsuits and a complaint to Los Angeles police earlier this week from a woman who says the comedian sexually abused her in 2008.

Actually, he's spoken about the subject many times over the last ten years. But the first allegations against him started - surprise, surprise - when he first started to go off the plantation.
What an incredible coincidence.
And you notice that once Herman Cain dropped our, these women all disappeared. Didn’t see them on TV anymore.
I’m still of the opinion that most of these women “coming forward” are being compensated in some way for their “testimony.” Once Cosby is completely ruined, those chippies will disappear too.
“As with Herman Cain there is a pattern.”
And the same lawyer- Gloria Allred?
Nice sarcasm Talisker !
That is an extremely curious set of questions to ask an NBC executive don’t you think?
...of Circus Pants.
Thanks for posting this article. How many people know this about the devine ms hilery?
“Trust me, you wouldn’t want my pudding pops. I made them special for the ladies.”
It was the most relevant questions to ask him, and he answered them.
No, she only just entered the picture, she hasn't been around during the almost 15 years of these accusations of sexual assaults and rapes, two police reports and one out of court settlement in 2006. Allred only showed up a couple of months ago and is only representing three of the women.
How do you figure?
Cosby already settled in 2006 with a woman who accused him of drugging and raping her in 2004, and that filed a police report in 2005, and found 13 more Cosby victims during their case.
These claims and accusations and supporting statements from 30 women cover 5 decades, and are from women in ages from 24 to their mid 70s, some pretty successful and famous.
This is not a Hermann Cain situation, whatever his situation was, and Cosby has used his 400 million dollars and media and lawyer power to fight these women for years.
So you think that Clinton is innocent of raping Juantia Broaddrick in 1978?
Did you see post 32, or know about the 2000 police report on sexual assault?
So, according to your thinking, it was also stupid for the victims in the Sandusky case to come forward ten years later? Or all of the accusers against the priests in that scandal? They must have REALLY been stupid because some of those accusations were 40 and 50 years old.
Love that word ‘taint’. Another tense of shan’t....
There’s still people on this board who believe he is innocent.
Why is beyond me.
Not everything is a left wing smear operation.
Access Hollywood Live discussed Woody Allen and BC scandals this morning on a local NBC channel (I watched it at a hotel in Monterey, California). The hosts firmly condemned both Woody Allen and BC. The hosts noted that Woody Allen continues to receive awards (after a scandal involving Dylan Farrow) and BC continues to perform live on stage, while so far, only a couple of Hollywood personalities have come out openly denouncing him.
I keep hearing criticism of the accusers that their statements are suspect because they waited so long to make their accusations. But, it seems that many of these women DID make accusations when the events took place, it’s just that the media didn’t cover it - ‘gasp’ the media covered for a liberal black man?
The media has done the same thing for many famous democrats from JFK to Bill and Hillary Clinton.
I must admit when I heard the first accusations against Cosby, that I was suspicious as well. But, with all the facts of the press not reporting past accusations and the filed police reports made against Cosby long ago, it starting looking pretty damning.
Also, just because Cosby has made some comments about personal responsibility doesn’t make him conservative or “going off the plantation”.
He has been, and still is, a big time democrat supporter. I don’t think his occasional excursions into personal responsibility made him a threat to the democrat party - especially among blck voters.
