Our culture is a swamp of decadence, with awards given out yearly by the judges of Sodom.
I’m rooting for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Once again I’m out if it with these movies. I have never heard of Grand Budapest Hotel. I was never aware of when it was in theaters. But its all over the news this morning as a leading contender.
All whites nominated for actors/actresses.
It’s a quirky movie, but I liked it. At least it was different than the typical Hollywood dreck.
No good slave movies this year.
Boyhood, Michael Keaton, Julianne Moore, J.K. Simmons, Patricia Arquette, Richard Linkletter.
Haven’t seen any of them. Plan to see American Sniper. Otherwise, who cares?
What films are you talking about?
Racial hacks think ‘Selma’, a TV movie, should have been nominated for at least 20 awards.
I see a few for American Sniper. That’s the only Oscar contender I want to see.
The last installment of “The Hobbit” was disappointing. Glad to see that it wasn’t nominated for anything but sound.
Of course “Selma” will win best picture. Dig up a 50-year old incident involving white (mostly democrats, by the way) racists to help fan the flames of the present race war (where accusations of racism are not justified by the facts). How can a liberal Oscar judge pass up this opportunity for (misplaced) activism?
There’s been a pretty big backlash against Selma. It’s not going to win.
I didn’t care for Boyhood. The only thing it had going for it was the novelty of watching the actors grow older.
David Carradine worked on a movie about Mata Hari starring his daughter then employed the same concept. He started in 1977 and worked on it for over 25 years.
I have written off the Oscars since the commie acceptance speech for Hearts and Minds. That was a perfect example of the F.A.G. way.
Yeah because one person’s acceptance speech 40 years ago is the overwhelming factor in the Oscars today. /sarc
The top grossing, and most entertaining, movie of the year was left off the list. Together, those nominated grossed 203 million domestically, ~130 million short of what Guardians of the Galaxy did alone.
I liked Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawkings for best actor by far. I didn’t like Boyhood. I was bored. Grand Budapest Hotel was creative and different, so maybe that should get best picture.
I really liked UnbroKen over the ones no.inated.
