The funeral for an Ohio transgender teen whose death and suicide note struck a chord across the country was moved Friday and held privately after threats against the family. Leelah Alcorn, 17, died Sunday after writing in an online diary that her parents didn't accept that she identified as female.
Tim Tripp, the family minister at Northeast Church of Christ in Cincinnati, told NBC News the funeral had been moved to a private location because "the times and dates had been publicized, and the family's received threats." Tripp wouldn't specify what threats surrounded the funeral, other than to say the family had heard there would be "disruptions." Mourners arriving at the church Friday found a sign on the door announcing the service's postponement. Jeff Hartmann, of Hodapp Funeral Home, said the private service was held there Friday morning. He said Alcorn's body was to be cremated.

There’s a lot of people upset with his parents - I think they are the ones receiving threats. I read the suicide note - yes his parents were mentioned, but he wrote so much more. Of course, people are going to zero on in his “terrible” parents. God help them. I pray for them and the truck driver.
He chose to call himself “Leelah.” Was his real name Haleel?

God loved this soul and died that he might live. This teen bought lies that were whispered to him. God still loved His child regardless and mourns just as the kids earthly parents do. It’s sin that God cannot abide but He loves all His children.

This kid was cruel as he condemned his parents who were obeying God. Who knows what God does with souls like this. I would not want to find out. God does love creation. He also has a place called hell for the hellions.

The American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association are guilty of having therapists run the other way and thereby through sin of omission fail to help those they used to help and could have helped. Psychologists and psychiatrists, despite knowing better, failed to speak up sufficiently or to act sufficiently when a politically motivated duet of psychologists had the organizational governing council of the APA erroneously reverse 150 through entire professional history with revisionist psychobabble, claiming an entire class of mental illnesses were no longer to be called illnesses.
The federal government and state legislatures are parties to this crime of making it illegal to treat these mental illnesses. There are more suicides among those active in homosexuality and socalled "trans-gender" activities than there were among those who were able to get mental help. They tell another big lie in claiming otherwise.
I believe Johns Hopkins hospital came out and said transgender people are mentally ill and will no longer do that surgery. It is said they know their stuff. The rest must be quacks who just want a buck like abortion docs.
I do a lot of driving for work and one of my worst fears is to cause death or injury to another person with my vehicle. Even in a case where such person threw themselves in front of my vehicle.
It would haunt me the rest of my life if I was in that situation.
Getting back to this whole "transgender" craze, my theory is that many men are looking to become women because men, especially white men, are looked down upon these days.
From a man's point of view, a woman has many choices that a man could never have. For example, if a woman decided to stay out of the workforce and just be a "housewife", she would be applauded for that decision. However, if a man tries taking that route, he is condemned as a lazy bum.
Used to be that there were rewards for a man to be a provider. He'd come home from work and would get to read the newspaper in the den while dinner was prepared and the housework would mostly be done. Being "head of household" used to be something to be proud of.
Now he would be considered a "chauvinist pig" if he had those expectations. Yet he is still expected to work like a slave all day and bring home the bacon. Yet his income is taxed so onerously that his take-home pay is hardly enough to pay the bills so that he must pressure his wife to at least get a part-time job just to make ends meet. This is very emasculating for the average male. So many of them just figure, why not put on a dress and become a woman, so that they can have the pressure of being a man in today's world removed from them.
Nah, I think too much crap on TV pushing this nonsense. I don’t watch TV shows but it seems like the ones I scan thru on my way to the sports channels always have some faggoty men or weak men in the show.
Men are being minimized so these young boys have no real masculine role models to look up too.
