Full Title: Obamas welcome 2015 with $295-a-head dinner at Hawaii’s most acclaimed restaurant where caviar and truffles are on the menu (and that’s before drinks and a tip!)

Notice that the Obama's extravagance didn't make any American newspapers.

Happy New Year, y’all!!!!

We had our traditional Pork and Sauerkraut for New Years Day—at home and homemade. With wine, of course.

The meal was delicious—we didn’t think to miss such things as caviar and truffles. And we gave thanks to God for our food, and all our other blessings. So—IMHO—we did better than the obamas!

So, did Michelle throw a fit about the service or quality of food?
***replaced the restaurant’s founding executive chef,***
Did SHE also get the cook fired?

Did they throw bones to the Secret Service and staff? Did they stiff the waiters on the tip!

IT’S GOOD TO BE DA KING! (and King’s consort!)

I had a $2.95 Pre Fixed meal. A can of refried beans, some tortillas and two cans of Budweiser.

They can afford it.

...but was it you and I who picked up the tab?

Impossible. They’re both socialists. They spend their vacations working at Turnip Commune #346.

Glad I'm not royalty. That menu sounds like crap.

I stayed home and had a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Better than what the Obamas had and a lot cheaper too. Plus I didn't have to get dressed up.

Nancy Reagan borrowed garments and solicited contributions to replace chipped white house china. Bush gave up golf for years because he thought it looked unseemly during the WOT.

Obama doesn't even pretend.

It’s easy to “treat yourself” when all accommodations are paid for by someone else!

Friggin poser.

They feel they are entitled to it because people who are now dead had slaves who are now dead.

Just curious why there has been no mention of the entourage' of friends and family who have traditionally accompanied them in the past. I hardly think they made this trip alone............
