Mug Shots Pub, a St. Joseph bar that touts itself as a spot where sarcasm is always free, has faced public scrutiny after offering a Michael Brown shot special over the weekend.
The Michael Brown special six shots of Jose Cinge for $10 faced criticism on both social media and from protesters after the Mug Shots bar offered the deal Friday, WDAF-TV reports. At least one of the bar owners apologized for the deal after a photo of the specials ad surfaced on social media outlets.
Its not meant to cause any harm, he told WDAF on Saturday. I should have thought a little bit more about it before I made it a shot special.
I’m sorry, that’s pretty offensive.
>>Im sorry, thats pretty offensive.<<
The best sarcasm should be!
BLEEP them if they can’t take a joke.
I’ll drink to that!
What’s offensive about it?
That’s a heck of a deal though, 6 shots for $10.00.
Do enough rounds of those, and you would be acting like Brown soon enough.
The most offensive thing about the special? Nobody is paying Browns parents!
There’s a dead guy, there’s millions of dollars in property damage, it’s not a joke.
Does it come with a Swisher?
It is all one giant joke. His life, a joke. His parents, a joke. The kerfuffle over his death, a joke. The political posturing, a joke. All the articles, jokes.
The property damage that happened because the Governor of our State of Missouri is, wait for it, a joke!
Oh, as far as a dead mother’s son, damned shame. Her shame and her sperm donor’s shame.
From the article:
“has faced public scrutiny after offering a Michael Brown shot special over the weekend.”
Sorry, but I lol’d.
As far as the millions of dollars in property damage... I think you still had to pay for the shots, they weren’t free, and you can’t just take them.
Too soon?
Hands up! Drinks on me.
You'll just wish you were dead
To-Kill-Ya.
Graveyard Humor can get pretty...dark..
where was the protests from social media and the protestors when the mother and grandmother, or whomever, were selling michael brown t-shirts?
Well, here’s the solution for being offended: don’t give them any business. Enough people do that, the bar will realize it was a bad call and fix it, or go out of business, which would be the ultimate punishment, right?
