The first Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser has finally arrived.
"There has been an awakening have you felt it? The dark side, and the light," says an ominous voice, just before Hans Solo's Falcon soars into view and the franchise's iconic theme song plays.

If they did bring in Palpatine, it’d be canon...sort of. I know (according to the ‘Star Wars’ comic books) that Palpatine made several clones of himself.
However, I doubt very much that Ian McDiarmid would want to play him again.
Yes. exactly!!!
Good point...he was the best thing, acting wise, from the prequels IMO.
If McDiarmid was to reprise the role, then there’s a 2% chance these films won’t be complete dogs.
“How about making films of the Jack Vance Planet of Adventure stories.”
Big Planet would make a good stand alone.
Jack Vance actually has a few connections to Star Wars. I know the term ‘Star Wars’ is in one of his books, and he helped storyboard artist David Russell get hired for Jedi.

An example of the latest generation of clones, maybe?
Once we were told the Clonetroopers were...clones...and became the first Stormtroopers, I always thought it would be an interesting, reflective moment in a later film if a one took off their helmet to reveal an aged, tired, and gray-haired clone.
I'd be in line for that. And that one could be done as a fairly inexpensive independent film, like "Moon" was.
The villain, Grand Admiral Thrawn, even better than Vader, and actually pretty sympathetic.
“...I hope they didnt try to get her into a bigger one...”
You know, SOL... there ain’t enough bleach in the world to burn that imagery outta my brain... thank you... very much...
Argh...
Ewoks: Debbie Wasserman Schultz as a child.
Chewbacca: Debbie Wasserman Schultz all grown up.
Pretty much settles it....
US solders ISOT* to ancient Rome? I wish that movie were real...
*ISOT = “In the Sea of Time” from the novel “Island in the Sea of Time about present day Nantucket thrown back in time several thousand years.
Thus proving my point. It is the talking that turns people off.
Avatar was just a blue-people version of Pocahontas.
Dances with smurfs
Exactly.
The more I think about them, the less I like them.
The time travel reboot idea but it could have been interesting if handled well, which it wasn’t.

Hasn’t Peter Pan been played by a woman (usually a gymnast) or am I confusing the roles played by Kathy Rigby, and Mary Lou Retton? Or Mary Martin?
