Since the media has decided to bombard me with stories of Bill Cosby's alleged rapes, I believe that I have a right to examine his accusers' claims. As each new woman surfaces and recounts her alleged sexual assault by him, I am left with more questions than answers.
I am not suggesting that Mr. Cosby is not guilty of adultery, however; the media and his accusers are claiming that he is a serial rapist. So far, I have not seen any evidence to prove their claims. Even his accusers say that they do not remember being raped. All that some of his accusers claim to remember is being given two pills (that they take of their own free will) with a glass of red wine and passing out and waking up with their clothes missing or disheveled. The chain of events that led up to these alleged incidents are left out (the history of their relationship to Mr. Cosby).
The only way for the public to have the holes in the accusers' stories filled in is through legal means. If I were Bill Cosby, I would file a defamation lawsuit against every accuser. That way they would have to be subjected to direct questioning by his attorney. I am willing to bet that some of their claims would fall apart within five minutes under direct questioning. In fact, if Mr. Cosby's attorney were to announce today that he will be filing defamation lawsuits against all current accusers, we would not see another woman come forward and this story would quickly fade away. Under direct questioning, I would like the following questions answered:
* What was the true nature of their relationship with Cosby?
* Where were the parents (of the teenagers) during the times of the alleged incidents?

MORE QUESTIONS:
* Why did they agree to travel and meet with a married man knowing that his wife would not be present?
* Why did they visit with a married man in his residence and hotel rooms while his wife was not present?
* What is the real reason they have decided to come forward after decades of silence?

Googled her...read the available mish mash....not interested in what she has to say about it.
Bread and circuses for the rubes.
all you need to do is look at Janice Dickinson’s face to know something’s amiss somewhere.
UR oh, wait for it.......FRs who have already convicted BC.
Why are so many defending him though? Are we to believe all these woman somehow coordinated to destroy him.
I’m disturbed at the similarity between the stories in that Cosby may have sedated them with Roofies. Otherwise, you’re dealing with a celebrity who attracts the usual variety of Klingons and misfits.
On the other hand, at this point, he has no choice but to go after each one, but it sounds like he will not do that so as not to dignify them unless any and all of them file a civil suite against him, then he must be aggressive in his defense.
This 90 year low life Scotti? Now there’s another story. He should be sued for his inuendos.
What is the real motivation here? And why now?
It all could be true but it seems suspicious.
One fact that cannot be denied, teaching personal responsibility is not well received with the powers that be in the chocolate world.
Yes....you make some good points. Personally, I think he found a technique that seemed to work for him and he went with it. But, I’m just gonna sit this one out and let him deal with his past - and the present. I don’t really care about him.
Although we have to be sensitive to the possibility that it is true. It takes a lot of guts to make it public.
And will Cosby get a fair hearing? Or will it be left at accusations with Cosby being guilty before proven innocent.
RE: Are we to believe all these woman somehow coordinated to destroy him.
Why is that not possible? He is an extremely rich man worth $400 Million ...
(Again, I am not defending him, but all possibilities have to be considered and those questions raised by the article are quite valid IMHO ).
Right.
After all, it is just his word against hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers..and hers...and hers...and hers...and hers.
I mean, just because 16 women tell pretty much the same story (of being given a pill “to relax them” or a drink that they later thought was spiked, passing out and waken up with ejaculate on or in them) then that’s no reason to believe them.
I mean, if the women didn’t want to be given a roofie and have sex when they were unconscious, they should have made this clear up front, right?
It’’so really their fault.
* Why did they agree to travel and meet with a married man knowing that his wife would not be present?
* Why did they visit with a married man in his residence and hotel rooms while his wife was not present?
Um, perhaps because they were young and stupid?
We are not necessarily defending him; we are concerned about a principle.

“Why are so many defending him though? Are we to believe all these woman somehow coordinated to destroy him.”
It is certainly easy to believe that, as none came forward until there were widespread media stories to allow all of them to tell similar stories.
Plenty of motivation for them to lie to gain fame and potentially, money.
Bill Cosby does not have the “Bimbo Eruption Squad” that Bill Clinton had/has.
RE: Um, perhaps because they were young and stupid?
And here’s the rub ... how do we determine whether it was consensual or rape?
