Is Jonathan Gruber One of the Architects of Obama's Executive Orders Amnesty?

It started out as a joke this morning. I often listen to the Steve Kane talk radio show here in South Florida. Kane's co-host on the show is Brian Craig and I often text message jokes or humorous observations to him while the show is on the air. Since they were talking about Jonathan Gruber and later about Obama's ILLEGAL executive order on the illegals I sent him a joking observation: "Was Jonathan Gruber the architect of the executive order amnesty plan?"

Well, a few moments after sending that message to Brian, I got to thinking if it could actually be true. After all Gruber has done a lot of consulting work for the Obama Administration so I put the following terms into Google and limited the search from the middle of 2010 until mid June of this year to avoid all the stuff about the Gruber controversies involving Obamacare. Well, I quickly found he was deeply involved in projects involving health care for the illegals. Here is a PDF DOCUMENT I found on this topic, "Undocumented Immigrants and Health Care Reform" published on August 31, 2012 with Gruber's name all over it. Use your "find" function and Gruber's name pops up over and over again starting with this at the beginning on Page 2: "Funding for this report was provided by a grant from The Commonwealth Fund. Special data runs were provided by Jonathan Gruber at MIT."

So my question is: Did Jonathan Gruber have input on the ILLEGAL executive order plan about to take place?

Wouldn't it be fun to see a list of WH visitors listed by frequency? I bet it would be very revealing.

I remember back when they were playing with CBO numbers on Obamacare, People admitted and knew there was fiddling going on but Conservatives certainly didn’t push back or publicize it.

Since the "immigrants" aka illegals will be getting quasi resident status, this is a way to get them ObamaCare. Here is Gruber on the Kaiser Health News website on January 9, 2012 replying to a question on this topic:

"As for undocumented immigrants, there was no support to help them. Unfortunately, the law leaves them out in the cold. That was just a political reality."

But "fortunately" it now looks like the illegals allowed to stay here will be covered. What needs to be discovered is how much input Gruber had in designing this for the ILLEGAL executive order about to take place.

I am sure one of the major thrusts of the ILLEGAL executive order is to get the illegals on ObamaCare. So guess which Obamacare architect as shown in this document has had a big input on the topic of the illegals and health care? The same guy who in the Kaiser Health News pages said it was "unfortunate" that they were not at that time covered by Obamacare. And to think that Gruber was somehow hermetically sealed off from the input used to give Obamacare to the illegals via the executive order is absurd. His fingerprints are all over this.

Congress needs to question Jonathan Gruber about any input he gave to the administration on helping give Obamacare to the illegals.

p.s. Please use the term "Executive ORDER" which is correct. That term was market tested and it showed that "order" was not viewed favorably so it was changed to "Executive Action" for strictly PR reasons.
