For the second time in a week, Lena Dunham has come out to discredit claims she sexually abused her little sister, which were based on a childhood story published in her recently released book Not That Kind of Girl. In a statement to Time magazine on Tuesday the creator and star of HBO's Girls says she is 'dismayed' over how the website Truth Revolt interpreted the essay about looking at her then year-old sister Grace's vagina out of curiosity when she was seven. 'First and foremost, I want to be very clear that I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances. 'Childhood sexual abuse is a life-shattering event for so many, and I have been vocal about the rights of survivors.

Let us point out that these are HER claims
Pervert.
Someone on this site was, sadly, defending her actions in an earlier thread on this subject.
Pedo enablers. Nobody wants to ‘judge’ these days...
She may have just made it all up as an attention getting device. It certainly backfired.
As an objective bystander, one wonders if there were editors who read the book and thought - ya know, Lena, this stuff about messing with your kid sister’s vagina - it just MIGHT get an unfavorable reaction....
I simply don’t believe anything that comes out of that vile creature’s mouth.

Not a surprise that the sister she molested turned lezbo.
Can’t wait to see Shapiro’s discovery, as he said...
“...says she is ‘dismayed’ over how the website Truth Revolt interpreted the essay...”
I believe she was quoted rather than interpreted.
It’s her story in her own words.
“I shared a bed with my sister, Grace, until I was seventeen years old. She was afraid to sleep alone and would begin asking me around 5:00 P.M. every day whether she could sleep with me. I put on a big show of saying no, taking pleasure in watching her beg and sulk, but eventually I always relented. Her sticky, muscly little body thrashed beside me every night as I read Anne Sexton, watched reruns of SNL, sometimes even as I slipped my hand into my underwear to figure some stuff out.”

No wonder. YOU’RE READING ANNE SEXTON.
Yeah, trying to be 'edgy' to her freakshow fans. Embellishment or fabrication, wont matter, she's toast and in a panic HBO will pull her show.
The whole thing was orchestrated. Raise the imagery of one sister “initiating” the other into lesbianism, then back away and say that’s not what they meant. But the words are out there.
Hit the same gong loud enough and long enough and pretty soon people start to ignore it. This is just a plot to legitimize child molesting by the liberals and the gays.
And of course this walking pos will not be forced to pay for it. The hollywood liberals will reward her for the part she played.
(I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I honestly think the world would be a much better place if every liberal were roasting in hell right now)
Got caught.
Was there not an editor that looked her book over before it was published?
I was just thinking the same thing. Surely someone read this before it was shipped off to bookstores... What kind of people are they?
Wow. Is she sure she grew from the 7 year old Doctor Mengele representation education...
Maybe she should appologize to her sister instead of being such a narcissist.
I put on a big show of saying no, taking pleasure in watching her beg and sulk,
Sounds like a sadist in the making.
Wonder if her hand might have figured out some things
in someone elses panties.
Disgusting Beotch.
I'll counter with a rhetorical question: Is an editor / seller of books more interested in a pleasant narrative without controversial elements or a sensationalistic pack of outrageous statements?
