Why Did Hundreds of Common Core Implementers Meet in Dubai?
Creeping Shariah ^ | November 2, 2014 | Creeping Shariah

A concerned Williamson County [Tenn.] parent stumbled upon < a href="http://www.menacommoncore.com">this, “On October 24 and 25, hundreds of schools, leadership teams, and teachers from across the region will gather in Dubai, to learn about the Common Core State Standards, share curricula and best practices, and network with each other.”

"If Common Core is local and state-led why are they holding Common Core conferences in the Middle East including more than 20 other nations? If Williamson Strong is local and parent-led why is their logo included among the international organizations sponsoring this event?” asks Julie West. And, what is MENA? Middle East North Africa Common Core. Yep. Great article here explains it all

Actually my son is very aware and watches his closely. My step-daughter and I had a very long discussion about it just this week. She was trying to help her 3rd grader with some math because she was falling behind. Of course it was the common core garbage. Once my daughter explained the way we have always done it the grand daughter got it right away. My daughter is an engineer and told me she herself could not figure out herself the way they were trying to do it. I told her to make the kids start bringing all their books home so she could check them. The schools DO NOT want the kids bringing them home. She is meeting with the school this next week over it. She is finally waking up to some of it and did finally say she is leaning more toward home schooling. One of the other step-daughters is just to far out there for us to even get through to her. It’s so frustrating.

Angels must be on your side for real.

If you do not know, I have studied Islam for most of my life. This movement to put Islam in our schools and throughout the curriculum, including math’s background-Al gebra, anyone-is growing. For that matter, kahwa is coffee, in Arabic.

Zero, however, is not an Islamic concept.

I have said since 1979 that the Shi’a are bat-s#it crazy, and that Muslims of a certain bent will kill themselves to win. We see this now in spades. People have not been paying attention or have been paid off.

I understand that on 9/11 certain people in the FBI were cheering. Now you just think about that. I know I called the FBI after listening to a man in a Jacksonville gas store talking in Arabic to someone. I struck up a conversation in Arabic and he shut the eff up so fast that I ‘made’ him.

There needs to be a large movement - a lot of people who object to this.

First thing is people need to be made aware of it - so tell everyone you know.

It might be good to start thinking of people to contact.
Remember how Huckabee made a statement about the pastors in Houston and the result?

Think of other groups that can help spread the word.
Any ideas are appreciated.

I’ve never believed in book burnings until I’ve read about the increasing attempts to bring Islam into the classrooms. Perhaps a mass demonstration of parents bringing the books in question to board of Ed meetings and setting the pages in question in flames will get their attention.

Or bringing the ashes of the offending pages to the board members will make point as clear as possible, that dawa in the classroom will not be tolerated.

“Angels must be on your side for real.”

Yes indeed and I have many stories. I firmly believe HE has sent many to protect my children and myself on countless occasions.

I’m sure the look on the Arabic guy’s face was priceless. Actually I would loved to have seen it myself. With your background and knowledge no doubt you are aware much more so than most of what’s happening. I try my best to stay informed but there’s an obvious disadvantage not knowing the language.

I agree and thankfully the more stories like this that come to light the better we can fight it.

A lot of schools no longer have books - this was part of common core. They learn using technology- ipads mostly.
See that article from Maggie’s Notebook posted here #36.
The idea of the technology is to get kids to skype with kids from the Middle East.

But there is social media to bring attention to the issue. And calling school board members directly, especially if you know any of them.

Homeschooling is so much easier and so much better than people realize. It’s not “school at home.” I have never regretted making the change. God willing my kids will never go back to public school.

Saudi Arabians own the textbook publishing industry in America and Common Core truly is Communism + Islam, brought to you by the Islamic Middle East. Book burnings and home schooling is called for, I think. This is what happens when Americans vote for a Wahhabi president. Obama has been on the Saudi payroll since he was a Senator, maybe before.

Interesting; but disturbing. Lots of politicians seem to be friends with the Saudis.

If home schooling is not possible, move to the far suburbs, as my parents did. Mom and Dad realized they were not educated enough in math and Science, so they found a town with what amounted to a public prep school, with a heavy emphasis on getting you ready for top-flight schools.

It worked. I wasn't in this group, so I'm not bragging: Fully one quarter of my graduating class now have doctorate-level degrees.
