Hey everyone,
The Ninth annual Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot concluded last weekend, and so much fun was had by all who attended, that a few of us have decided to keep the momentum of fellowship and fun going here in North Texas.
For those who missed it, the annual Shoot was held at a private shooting range just south of Dallas this year. The live thread (with a bazillion photos) can be found here:

We're calling our little follow-up gathering, the FR North Texas Turkey Shoot. No, we won't be hunting any turkeys, but we will be enjoying a nice day out with good friends, in a relaxed countryside environment.
This thread is intended to put out the word to any and all Freepers who'd like to come hang out with us for a day of shooting, picnicking, and great camaraderie.

Time: To be determined
Location: 5 miles south of Route 175 or 3.5 miles NE of I-45 (exit 270) on S. Belt Line Road

We sold our house over the weekend, so only have the timesuck of finding a new one to keep us half busy.

I doubt I will get to go but in case it works out, I was wondering how the roads are at the range. Last time it seemed it was questionable on whether I could get my travel trailer in there....
The missus won't go anywhere without it....

I’m glad you enjoyed the adult beverage. I must say that the brisket you cooked up on Saturday was really delicious. If Eaker and Humble hadn’t kept me so busy jawing, I would have had seconds ;-)

Like to make one of these just need and invite early...hint hint.... Well, this one's just an informal get-together at the range for some shooting and food. Nothing fancy. There'll be plenty more.
We kinda needed to hurry up with this one because of Thanksgiving coming so soon. Otherwise, there would have been more notice.
