Hey everyone,
The Ninth annual Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot concluded last weekend, and so much fun was had by all who attended, that a few of us have decided to keep the momentum of fellowship and fun going here in North Texas.
For those who missed it, the annual Shoot was held at a private shooting range just south of Dallas this year. The live thread (with a bazillion photos) can be found here:

We're calling our little follow-up gathering, the FR North Texas Turkey Shoot. No, we won't be hunting any turkeys, but we will be enjoying a nice day out with good friends, in a relaxed countryside environment.
This thread is intended to put out the word to any and all Freepers who'd like to come hang out with us for a day of shooting, picnicking, and great camaraderie.

Location: 5 miles south of Route 175 or 3.5 miles NE of I-45 (exit 270) on S. Belt Line Road

Laz, don't worry - we haven't lost a target holder yet, lol.
I personally can't say the same for tannerite, though. Seems I can hit it, but it won't explode - guess it doesn't like me - I can't get no respect, sob.
Maybe if you hold the tannerite...?
God willing we will get these folks together for a sangwich and a shoot, take a few pics.
