Marburg breaks out in Uganda
I think Obama should change his schedule for the coming week or so and fly down there in order to bolster the natives moral. After all, its the right thing to do.
They can tell if flu by a culture.
Well played.
What a lot of people don’t realize is that an outbreak has the panic factor to consider. The Spanish Flu had a fatality rate of approximately 2.7 percent. But many more people died in addition to the fear and panic that someone they know possibly could be the unfortunate one who died. Given the amount of panic and chaos many of these African nations have, I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes comparable to Ebola by adding on the panic of many people in the country doing irrational actions out of fear that someone they know or even themselves gets the unlucky death draw.
can’t wait =]
Case fatality rates have varied greatly, from 25 percent in the initial laboratory-associated outbreak in 1967, to more than 80 percent in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 1998-2000, to even higher in the outbreak that began in Angola in late 2004.

That add shows Oct. 14th but that’s a Tuesday.
What’s up with that?
I’m waiting for him to say....”If you get Ebola, don’t worry, I’ve just signed an executive order that says Obamacare will cover all costs including funeral expenses.
There ‘re some folks getting Marburg...
When obola finds out about this, he’ll be flying over unaccompainied 40 year old kids from Uganda because he only has two years left and Ebola isn’t spreading fast enough.
While Ebola is supposed to have a higher fatality rate than Marburg, Marburg doesn't always play by the rules.
Marburg's fatality rate varies widely from outbreak to outbreak. The CDC says the fatality rate of Marburg outbreaks varies from 25% to 80%. The Congo outbreak from 1998-2000 had approximately a 80% fatality rate. The 2005 Marburg outbreak in Angola had almost a 95% fatality rate.
The Ebola fatality rate in Sierra Leone was just 39%.
“outbreaks vary”
And let me tell ya—my family (minus my daughter who already had the Swine Flu in 2009 which is what I suspect we had) got sick with the flu. We went down like dominoes and were the sickest any of us had ever been for the better part of two weeks. No way I would NOT be convinced it wasn’t ebola if I got that sick again. I felt like I was going to die.
I heard a doctor on Hannity say the opposite, that true Ebola leaves you dead as a doornail and devoid of any tissue or bone whatsoever, and that Marburg is what we have going on now. Unless of course he said the opposite and I wasn’t listening because I was going through a car wash!
I’m thinking that too, especially the beheading and rise of the demonic Islam. That’s somewhat unnerving..........
Yes, I heard a doctor on Hannity say that was the case, but it was so virulent that they knew it would kill them too, as once used, it couldn’t be stopped. Odd how such bad sheeeet comes out of Africa! Horrid place I think?
Sounds like they need to be much more careful with their samples.
Watch the masses start screaming for martial law once a few hundred people are infected.
